Not as pathetic as suggesting that translations of the Qur'an are somehow abridged or altered for Western consumption. As a matter of fact the first time I read the Qur'an it was read to us by a Muslim member of our squad, his copy was Arabic.

As we are getting taught the quran we also learn arabic

1st we learn the alphabet and another book which teaches how to join words.

then after this we start reading the quran. as you learn and read more you begin to understand what it says.

also if your arabic is not all that good you can always get a translation or go to a iman.shcoler etc.. if you have a problem

To be honest I don't think you are following what he is saying because even if the percentages are the other way round his point is still valid. According to your belief system God has made it much harder for me to get in to Heaven than you. I was not born to a muslim family and my upbringing/mental make up means I need proof that God has not seen fit to provide. I can speak and understand Arabic along with my mother tongue which is punjabi, english and urdu for that matter...i have quite a few arabic speaking friends in Dubai where i have spent a lot of time in the past due to my work.

Seriously though slug either your just plain ignorant or you really have lost the plot...i mean e36adz, whos muslim and has read the Quran would obviously know how to read arabic...i dont know about Gaidin if he has read any arabic or understands it...its same for any other muslim who has read the Quran...we are taught the language and to read the Quran from a very early age....i started at the age of 5 and have read the Quran enough times to know it pretty well.

So do us all a favour and kindly GTFO because you are just offensive for the sake of it...its sad and doesnt make you look smart more childish if anything.
