Picked up a 21 plate Mountain Grey AMG A35 Premium plus yesterday, have to say I'm pressed with the overall feel of the car. Feels rock solid and the tech is amazing. (Coming from a Golf R which was pretty well specced out 3 years ago, also an awesome car!).

Appreciate it might not go down too well on here, seems there's a bit of an elitist attitude on some MB forums about the spoiler/body kit etc

I like it though, and that's the main thing

Have to say it’s the one thing I don’t like about it, not the functionality aspect, more the “lego” style of it.

they’re taking it back and I’ve signed up for a brand new c300 diesel AMG line night pack something or other. Kind of good timing as I’m starting a new job in London in 2 weeks. I’m off to work with Andy Serkis at The Imaginarium

sad to see the silly car go, but it’s just way too unreliable. Everything has been sorted under warranty but I’ve lost faith....sad times

Great outcome for you. I didn't realise it was an E63! I specifically asked on MBworld about the airbags and was assured they'd be all good. I assume it was an issue tied up with all your other electrical gremlins though?

C300 sounds like a winner. Is that 'new new' as in the new model or are they not out yet?

It’s not the super new model, last of the last new version stock., will be a ‘21 plate, not registered or driven

sadly it’s got the night pack, so blacked out chrome, black wheels and the car is.....black.....all it needs is a LED star roof lining!!

least I won’t see the drug dealer look from inside. It has the matt wood dash, widescreen stick on screen and LED gauges.

The E63 is gonna be fixed tmw, so an easy fix. I can’t afford this much time messing about with constant gremlins, although it could be fine for years now....who knows?

Yeah sods law. JayEmm (the YouTube chap) just bought a Gallardo thats had a crazy list of repairs. Similar logic that all what could go wrong, has gone wrong

Shame the car was such a nightmare, to be honest it would have got on my nerves if my car had as many problems. It would be a toss up between thinking so much of the car would have been replaced that it should be fine now to oh no not again sort of thing. Hope you have better luck with the C300

yeah, must have been a Friday build....I just went and emptied it, took the roof bars off and left the spare key....Gone!!!!

c300 should be good to go next week. I’ll be sure to list pics and await the barrage of “black wheels, black everything” hate comments
