Things like that are rarely covered on anything especially a second hand car. Often they'll do it under goodwill instead.

One was, yes, a 19 plate car fitted with the AMG ride control suspension and the comfort mode was indeed noticeably less jarring than standard setup. With the standard setup expansion joints etc sent a sharp shock through the whole car. Ride control reduces this maybe 30-40% however for comparison the same would be hardly felt in the S line TT we also own.

Be aware the A35 has very low frontal clearance when compared to similar cars (lower than a Lambo Huracan iirc) forums have some reports of splitters being ripped off when going over speedbumps slightly too fast etc. You can definitely feel this when driving, having to creep over larger bumps etc which aren't an issue in similar cars. I really wanted to love the A35 as the practicality of the hatch and size is really appealing but I think it is compromised for day to day duties in comparison with rivals.

All going well, I get mine Saturday morning! It's borderline offensive actually, but it's dream car territory for me at the same time - very excited :p
 
was going to get some pics, but the car has broken already!!!

I spoke to the mechanic at Mercedes and he said my old E63 was giving him nightmares!

The new car had the engine fan come on straight away and then a massive temp warning on the dash, now the check engine light has come on......

It's absolutely ridiculous!!

He mentioned it may have been the exhaust re-gen thing or an air lock in the coolant releasing and it needs topping up. Engine light doesn't bode well.....

the car barely moved when I accelerated too....gaaaaah!!!!
