As terrible as the violence and loss of life is, it is fascinating to watch this unfold. Amazing how fragile the situation is and how quickly the momentum seems to be shifting back and forth in defiance of whatever the latest news reports say.

Civilians being shot by Apaches seemingly

It looks like it could be footage from an earlier scene, shot from a different angle. The previous video seemed to show someone filming from distance toward the back of a gathering as tracers hit the ground close to civilians.

Definitely conflicting reports. Al Jazeera quite early on said it was over, and then this filtered through to the other news channels. Looking on other sources though, such as Reddit, it appears to be far from over.

All main new channels basically saying it is over, which makes chronological sense.

On reddit and even in this thread, people seem to be jumping back and forth across different events over the past 2 hours.

Soldiers are surrendering. There may be isolated incidents happening, but they achieve nothing.
