Multirotor, multicopter and quadcopter discussion - The Drone thread

It should have a 16gb card in the drone, think if you look on either side there is a little flap that you pull down and you should see the card in there.

But in the dji go app, there should be a camera settings and in there you change the resolution of the video.

But I'd suggest getting a 64gb card for the mavic. I bought a sandisk 64gb card from amazon for about £30 I think.

So I was in Brent Cross today, thought I'd pop in John Lewis on the off chance they had a Spark Fly More. 'Sorry, we don't sell drones, you probably need to use online.... except I think we got delivered a couple by mistake and have put them in clearance. Let me check'. 5 minutes later he comes back with a Mavic Pro Fly More with £300 knocked off, simply because they weren't supposed to receive it! How can I say no to £1,059!

I think there's another if anyone is looking. You might have to ask though, it wasn't with their other tech clearance lines.
Shame I'm 300 miles away or I would have gone in myself, so tempted with the mavic....

Seems reading up on dji's website the batteries charge in sequence on the mavic but charge at the same time on the spark fly more package

Great result - that's a fantastic deal. Enjoy the Mavic - you'll have a lot of fun!

Well went yesterday evening to fly my mavic but looks like the battery I have is dead. Only one led is flashing even though it was charged the other day and was working perfectly fine

Spoke to the place I bought it from and they have asked me to send the battery back so they can have a look at it. If it is faulty then they will replace it. Tried just about everything to bring it back to life but no go.

Anyhow I will be mavic-less for the next few days :(

I could be wrong but I'm assumining dji batterys will discharge themselves after a certain period of time

They do, mine was set to 10 days which I think is the default anyhow.

I've tried charging the battery but it won't charge, it just sits at the one flashing led. Had it on charge for over an hr yesterday but no dice. Ran throw some diagnostics with the guy on the phone and even he said it looks like it's faulty so arranged for the battery to be sent back to them.

Very tempted to pop over to Brent Cross as it's just a 20 mins drive but I think I shall bite my tongue and wait a bit longer - really want one to take to Austria in December!

A friend just bought a DJI Ronin MX - very nice bit of kit - he now of course wants me to go for an M600 rig so he can loft his camera haha :o

Had a quickly fly of her big old beast last night. I've not really flown much after selling my company. I went last night and hated it. Will be listing all my stuff shortly.

Surely you wont find it at a better price? Or you're just not after the Mavic?

Oh I know that! All too tempting believe me ... I now have a Phantom 4 through work that I'm getting to grips with at the moment and got to see some Inspire 1 & 2's last Friday through work too (Costain / Thames Water have some nice kit!) - might get to see their M600 rig in September :D

Anyone interested in DJI Products this is the reply I just got regarding warranty.

Thanks for your interest in DJI.

We do not recommend you to buy in another country.

Since DJI do not provide international warranty, and you may have question with after-sales support.

You could buy from local dealers when you back your country:
