Voltage 1.304, core speed jumps between 1615 x16 to 4039 x40 idle temps max 44-44-40-44

They're averaging at 35 ish though.

We may have to change your cooling/fan settings in the BIOS - i would have to familiarise myself with the manual.

Have had blend on for 10 minutes, temps max of 66-67-69-68 with average of what looks like 63/64,

I'll open hw monitor now

EDIT: CPU fan running at max 1313rpm

That's great - temps are a lot better than before and the fan is spinning up to compensate.

Plus the ambient temp is a lot warmer so those temps are great compared to the last cooler at 1.25V.

Back into BIOS.

Change your clock to the right time.

Bump up the multiplier to 43.

Try to resist pressing the OC button

As your temps are fine - great even (TF!) - we'll use a method that i used on a different thread.

It's not my usual testing method but it's far less stressful on the CPU and it worked well for the other user and the system was very similar - same CPU and memory. Plus, his system has been rock solid since.
