Netflix here we go again.

The only thing I have watched on Netflix recently was Temple and that was a Sky programme originally. It seems to be mostly filled with terrible Netflix made films and dodgy TV series. Apple TV is so much better quality and I generally dislike Apple products.

Yeh starting to get a bit bored with Netflix... Spent more time on Disney Plus!

Amazon..Terrible

I have a weird fetish for bootleg stuff.

It’s that time again.

Customers on the Standard tier will now have to pay an extra £2 per month, with the price of Netflix’s most popular plan jumping to £12.99.

Meanwhile, the most expensive Premium plan has been upped to £18.99, an increase of £1 per month.
The ad plan hasn’t been spared, either. Netflix’s cheapest plan is getting its first price hike, also going up by £1 to £5.99.

Think I might cancel after this.
Watching less and less on Netflix now. And they keep cancelling shows I like.

Its not the price, I'd happily pay up to 20 for a really good streamer.

11 to 13 pounds is quite the hike in percent

Apparently it's to pay for live sport, which I can't and don't watch (need a TV licence)

We get it through Sky so hopefully we're already getting gouged enough through them to not get the £1 rise.

God, remember when it was £4 a month? Feels like a lifetime ago.

If they get F1 (which is being rumoured), I'm happy to pay an extra quid or two a month.

However, I expect they'll probably have some premium tier ******** tied to it , or some extra add on making it prohibitively expensive like it is on SKY.

Completely understandable, the company is clearly struggling...

Until people actually grow some principles and stop paying for it, Netflix, and other corporations, will just carry on pulling this ****.
Exactly it's no good complaining it's too expensive then paying it. Well it clearly isn't too expensive or your wouldn't pay it.

Yep, same with everything else. The more we tolerate these greedy companies and their founders, the more they just keep squeezing us.

After we've finally finished squid games 2 I'll be ditching it.

There's really not enough on there to justify the current price let alone the raise.

They wouldn't need to increase prices if they stopped making terrible over-budget movies with The Rock, but obviously it's not about that, they aren't making a loss so it's just standard greed.

They're going to need to offer more if they want to bump prices, otherwise it's off to the high seas.

That's the issue with capitalism in its current form. There always has to be growth, and profits must always go up.

Unfortunately, that isn't sustainable.

my netflix premium via Turkey is currently 6.92 a month, it was very recently under 3 quid. nearly 7 quid is too much for all the rubbish thats on there. If they hike it for Istanbul too im jacking it in.

Yep, you see it everywhere. Grocery prices at an all time high but also record profits because investors want to see increasing earnings.

This is why, where I have a choice, I'll gladly not spend the money even if I have it.
