New Dell IPS S2721DGF 165hz gaming monitor

you canny purchasers are great payed £390.00 in sept thought that was good I would say that far from a shortage of stock they are trying to shift them as fast as they release.

Ooh, would you mind PM'ing it to me too please? Want to kick up a fuss later and see if I can get a discount, this is a joke!

they asked me for oproof that iinnex kindly provided and then declined and wouldn't offer me any discount at all on live chat! I will try customer services tomorrow, but if I don't get the discounted price I will be cancelling my order

It all depends who you speak to, you just got to get the right person. You could ask for Taruni Palakurthi. That's who I spoke to and all I said was I've been sent to Live Chat to get this monitor for 280.80, can you do it please and they said yes straight away. Nothing else needed.

Tried 2 more live chats even the supervisor with no luck. Well the live chat were a bunch of unhelpful robots reading from a script. Asked me for proof to price match, when given came out with all excuses why it couldn't be done and offered no further discount. Kept moving the goal post.
Will call customer service tomorrow and see what they say, but if I don't get any joy they can poke it I'll be cancelling my order.

I spoke to him first and was told get proof and they would match it, then told no offer, that stock has finished. They just make it up as they go along.

They really do.
What an odd way to run a business, it makes very little sense. Demand for this monitor is relatively high and stock is very low, I doubt higher up staff in Dell want a product like that selling at a large discount.
If you gave them the order number they can probably see what discounts were applied I can only guess that rep possibly figured the other reps that have been giving these extreme discounts may be reprimanded over it.

I doesn't make sense for Dell to give such extreme discounts on a monitor which is struggling to meet demand and there is stock shortage. Look at all the gpu launch prices and the scalping thats going on. Surely some of the sales rep's are putting through huge discounts to secure their commission.

One of you lads that got it for 280 mind pming me the order number so I can have a nice chat about how I'm still waiting after more than a month and paying a lot more.
Here you go mate.

Can I be added to the list please? Apologies for being a pest, figured I'd also try my luck, although I'm not hopeful I'll get anything off my order (think it's £350).
I can't send you a PM as you have not logged into/configured your Trust.

Same situation, going to call them tomorrow - I don't mind waiting if the ETA is reliable but this is a joke. This is what's winding me - when you read that some people ordered later and cheaper, and received earlier (fair play) its comical. Every time I have bought from Dell has been good, one monitor I should have returned (backlight bleed) but CBA, my bad, other than that; this experience is taking the biscuit though.
