New Gaming Rig Advice..

What do I need the screwdriver for by the way? To push the pins together?
You need to get a screwdriver - reasonable size head that's clean (sounds ominous ;))

Just behind the F-Panel Header (where all your wires for the case plug in) - you'll see 2 pins sticking up with the words CLR_CMOS written behind them.

With the PC unplugged and depleted of power (press power switch when off) - then touch the 2 pins together (shorting) for a few seconds - with the screwdriver.

Then plug everything back in, and switch on - go to BIOS and load factory defaults - save and exit.

I should have added/made that clearer in my original post.

Nope, still not booting.

On the 3rd boot try it goes to this screen

Then just keeps restarting until it's on the 3rd try again and gets to that screen.

Well, that's annoying.

Turn off, unplug and remove one stick from DDR3_2.

Then clear the CMOS again - same procedure.

Plug back in and switch on - let it try and boot.

When it stayed on but no picture I had it plugged in DDR3. Just moved it to DDR1 and now it's just restarting all the time again getting as far as that screen I posted further up, but this time on the second restart not the third.
