Wouldn't of even bothered changing the RAM if I knew it was going to do this haha. Thought it was a simple switch.
Think there's a chance I haven't quite got the CMOS thing right even though I've tried to do it 5 times, can't quite see if they are making a big enough connection.
Yeah I've been pushing them towards each other to make them touch, is that correct? Got one screwdriver pushing one and another pushing the other till they meet in the middle.. atleast I think they are connecting.You should only have 2 pins - directly behind the F-Panel header - and you need to touch both at the same time for a few seconds. If necessary we may have to remove the battery.
With the PC unplugged.

You touch the pins together via a single screwdriver - that bridges the gap.
You don't physically pull the pins together.
Worst case scenario is that you've damaged the board - i'm really hoping you haven't. They can take a lot of punishment.
How much force were you applying?
