dont change all the keys.

it seems weird at first but you do get used to how things work. dont block any server just refresh like and join some until you get used to how game plays.

you will die a lot and get murdered by people but thats just part of dayz learning curve.

I joined a server when i was trying to set up keys but didnt see a single person, think there was one zombie walking around near me but it didnt come to me. Also i found that toggle weapon didnt work? I joined a server that said spawn wtih sniper but i didnt seem to have a sniper rifle?

make sure in install settings that everything is upto date it will say latest or upto date. especially the top three settings .

Cheers, were a decent bunch and a few of us have been around OCUK for years in the old skool CS days and the OCUK clan, there is just not that many of us.

Since we set our server up commander keeps saying we have NP on, even though we don't. Can't work out the fix

Mods locked another DayZ thread. It amazes me that in GD, all the trolling posts just get deleted and the thread can carry on, yet in here the thread just gets locked because of a little bickering. Just suspend the offenders?

I suggest the mods get together and start singing off the same hymn sheet for once. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.

I understand Commander is back up and running fine now? Still without the new Epoch patch though I see

Please be careful what you say about moderating on the forums, email us directly rather than post it publically. It will just wind us up and we'll be less inclined to take any action.

If you're using regular settings, configure it in the config file to veteran, then allow hudwp in the user cfg settings.

What are peoples thoughts on Epoch, while our server is quiet it seems to have more for the single player to do, with crafting etc

I have not played it myself and only started on DayZ last week.

It's the best mod out there for DayZ imo. As you say, far more for the single player to be getting on with, and even more to be getting on with in groups.

You get a nice sense of achievement when you save up enough gold to get your first Huey/SUV etc....

Very disappointed in some people (not mods) that yet another dayz thread is locked. At a time when the standalone is soon to come out too.

Anyway, I have played a bit of epoch, and while it seemed pretty awesome it's not something I've put a lot of time into. Think I'm holding off for standalone now, with just vanilla dayz mod to pass the time.

Cheers, I think I defo want to give it a try. I take it the metals you find allow you to buy most things? Are they just random drops? And are trading posts just mass kill zones?

origins and epoch are interesting mods origins is better more popular .

will be interesting when new 1.7.7 patch coming out which has crafting in what happens with the other mods. this is out june definitely .

so this next month for both the mod and standalone will be awesome :cool:
