London games for me have turned into bit of sore point. At least they are better at monetising them now, that's for sure.
- In 2011 when the Bears visited Wembley it was easy and hassle free to get tickets. Now ticket sales for that year were very late due to the NFLPA dispute. However there was a single price, no season ticket or much a mention of hospitality packages.
- In 2019 when the Bears played at Tottenham there were 8 or so pricing tiers, season tickets and hospitality packages advertised. I couldn't get any tickets as they opened for general release despite queuing in ticketmasters website for over an hour (learnt later that some people had a much easier time getting tickets with the mobile app).
- Had a friend who wanted tickets for the Packers game this year who had a similar disappointing experience (I did suggest trying to get the season ticket first).
I appreciate Tottenham's stadium is smaller in capacity than Wembley and demand for some games will be high, but it isn't half an enthusiasm killer to miss out on tickets and see the pricing go stupidly high either through tiering, season tickets and ticket reselling.
