NFL 2021 Season

Legit think I could do better than Johnson by just audibling into handoff every ******* time
(Ironically might be what Purdy will do as a decoy now)

That's some bad coaching there on that drive before HT from SF. 14-7 you got the ball after HT, 1.39 on the clock, just get to HT.
Lol funny you say that, 49ers fans and Shanahan critics will tell you that is exactly what Kyle does all the time and punishes the 49ers.

Historically, given 49ers QB always gets injured. Kyle gets a lot less conservative with them though so might be why that happened

Well thats the game.

Been unlucky for the 49ers but even without these injuries today I thought they would lose. They haven't faced anyone decent most the season, one of the easiest schedules ever.

I think the whole league in general has gone overly aggressive - this is analytics at work. It's also some grandstanding and machismo, analytics work best in baseball. I've been watching the game since 1982-3 and the league has lost its grip on common sense with field position, 2pt conversions, going for it on 4th down in ridiculous spots. The playcalling on thst drive beforen HT was ludicrous, as it turned it out it hasn't mattered, but it could have.

They also played a very physical game last week, that would have caught up with them this week at some point, Purdy or not, against another very physical team.

So, onto then AFC title game, a shame Mahomes is not going to be 100% or Kelce.. It will be interesting to see whether the Cincy O-line can stand up again, the Bills front seven was absolutely woeful last week.

Refs lost control of the game with the one sided flagging and lack there of when Eagles did much

Not sure how the right tackle has got a career in NFL, false started every other play but I suppose if its not called that'll happen

I noticed that with the RT, always looked a step ahead, well step back of everyone else

Oh why would you do that. Completely stupid from 58 of the Bengals. Cost them a SB spot with some dumb ass crap then.

I seriously can't believe he did that.

This ankle stuff is doing my head in, he didn't have one leg did he, literally just ran for the game winning brain fart by the defender, looked OK then. If it was that bad he wouldn't have played.

Yeah, losing how the Niners did is much better than the Bengals :D

I would be absolutely seething at that one sided officiating, did everything they could to get the Chiefs to the SB. Randomly spotting Chiefs another down and the blatant holding on that final play where RTP was given

It is a shame when games are impacted so heavily by injuries and stupid decisions (for penalties)

I'm kinda torn on the matter. Yes, they made a very big deal of it. Yes, he could run, just about... but clearly not like he usually will. Then, the feet and legs do play a reasonably big part in throwing with velocity (esp your rear plant foot) but at the same time, Maholmes is one of the best in recent time in throwing in unorthodox ways, so maybe less impact to him as it would others?
