I really hope it has a dpad on the left joycon and not buttons.
I still use it. Miles better for tougher platformers like Celeste or Hollow Knight. Buttons were so frustrating for me. I’d buy another one if the S2 has buttons. The mountain of leaks says no.
But you got me thinking did anyone try the hori controller that had a d pad for the switch?
I hope the switch 2 can play switch games at an improved framerate and resolution.
What I doubt is if the higher resolution and frame rate will be available without a fee. This is Nintendo after all.I have absolutely no doubt it can, but it will require patches to do so, which I'd hope we'd get at least for the first party titles, which to be fair are the only ones I care about anyway.

I seriously doubt that it will be that alone, somehow they will manage to turn it into a subscription feature. The fee is you have to buy a switch 2

Former marketing manager for Nintendo on twitter said that from what they've heard, despite all the real leaks, Nintendo management intends to not bring the announcement forward and will stick to their timeline for announcing the switch 2
I think what you meant to say was "remaster" or "deluxe" edition.
I’d love to be wrong but Nintendo also love money.I'd bet you everything I own they will not hide a performance patch behind a paywall.

Flight Sim ? Hell, no ! Get it fixed and working properly on PC first ! This is what happened to MSFS 2020 ... as soon as they started patching it up to be playable on Series consoles the sim just became increasingly unstable. And now we have MSFS 2024 which is an even bigger mess.Adding to the rumour pile.... Eurogamer reporting from a leaker NateTheHate (who was spot on breaking the news that Microsoft would go "multiplatform" last year) that Microsoft will be on board with Switch 2 as a "very big supporter" with them planning to release the Halo Master Chief Collection and Flight Simulator.... in 2025
