Do you not remember what the Switch reveal was like? Happened on January 20th i think.

The Switch 'reveal' was in October and was a trailer a few minutes long, the Switch 'launch event' was January, where they actually went into specifics about the device hardware, followed by a March launch.
Well the January event is what I meant obviously. As its around the same time now. Especially if it goes on sale in a couple of months from now. Remember Nintendo do directs now so it will be different. They'll still have to unveil the hardware and the launch titles.
No recollection at all, watching it now.
You never know. But surely not showing any games is silly.
On a scale of 1 to "absolute nerd meltdown", how upset are people going to be if the reveal shows virtually nothing more than we've already seen from the leaks?
I honestly expect it. I feel they are just going to show bare minimum to whet the appetite and then do a larger one later.

Wondering how silly it would be to pick up an OLED for our eldest right now... (he's already got the non-OLED, which would be handed down to his younger brother).
With the Switch 2 on the horizon it feels like a bad idea, but it sounds like it's going to be at least 3-4 months before it's actually available

I'm pretty sure I'll just pre-order it as soon as it is available but I'm curious about the 16th first.Sooner the better for me.

Well we should know by tomorrow with an announcement of the announcement, if you don't see anything tomorrow I doubt we will see it on Thursday.
As for software, my guess is they will show demos that are not confirm to be actual games (but we all they will be)

Maybe not ... I wouldn't be surprised if it's available in March.

Yeah feels like some decent sources are reporting the 16th for it now, although seems to be suggestion games will be held back for another event....
Hard to imagine there won't be a new one at some point. It's almost 5 years since the last one.
My wife plays it every single day since release, if there is a sequel she will be overjoyed. I haven’t understood why there hasn’t already been a sequel given how successful it was.
