I have a theory. As the Switch no longer uses AMD and now use Nvidia, you won't be buying a Switch as it would be like buying an Nvidia graphics card. By the time Nintendo go back to making a non Nvidia console, you will have forgot about the old guy and will once again be able to enjoy Mario
Total lies imo
They are not bringing the big games like Battlefield etc because the Switch is simply not powerful enough.
Even the FIFA game is a hybrid and not just a direct port from PS4/xb1
I'm not bashing the Switch itself but EA and other big 3rd parties will soon disappear when they can't release their newest franchises and have to make Switch level games that might not sell enough.
It's the WiiU all over again in terms of 3rd party imo
I like the Switch and I own a WiiU but I wish it was at least as powerful as the standard ps4 or xb1 so it's not left to rot like the last console has
Lol no. It's a tiny bit more powerful than Wii U in docked mode.
lol the XB1 won't do Skyrim over 30fps. When that come out and we can get side by sides, that'll interest me.
Zelda will be 1080p 30fps, which for a port seems fine to me, considering 30fps seems to be an ok standard when looking at the below:

Doubt the switch docked is as fast as Xbox one. This is why I wished they went for pascal tegra which would have probably been which then means more likely devs may have bothered to support it.

The XBOX ONE S is 1.4Tf and most technical breakdowns have this at around 350Gflops when docked which would make it around 25% of an XBOX ONE S.

My mistake, it seems I was remembering an IGN article that when re-reading have put a correction. They had it at 1080p but now say 900p.
Still, we still see XB1 games running 900p 30fps and people seem happy enough with that.
Pretty much. That's how the internet works, unfortunately.
Digital Foundry reported on this and have been right with every rumour so far regarding the Switch. I have no doubt this is an underclocked Tegra X1 along with underclocked A57 cores.
I'm not saying you're wrong but as always I'll only believe an official statement from Nintendo or when someone does a tear down on it with photos etc showing the chip.
You may be right, you may be wrong!
Nintendo won't release anything regarding the specs so we'll have to wait on tear downs and devs to comment on this.
I do hope I am wrong though as more power can never hurt!

The Docked switch is barely more powerful than a wii u without it running the extra screen on the pad. Laughably underpowered
