*** Nintendo Switch ***

Sorry if it has been posted already but what are the must have day 1 buys? I don't know what extra I need to buy? I need to buy an extra pad for my girlfriend but see there are a few I can get?

Thanks

I don't think we have any details on if the eShop or VC will be ready for launch do we? I'd like to download something as I've only picked up Zelda and that's single player. If not, Nintendo really do wind me up at times with how they trickle news.

I think most people are just getting Zelda, a case of some sort and either an extra set of Joy-Cons or a Pro Controller.

I just have the console ordered. Not too interested in Zelda. And I'm mainly buying for the kids who love mario kart. (Damn Nintendo, why no mario K on release )

Super Bomberman would be great :p

Next, whether Nintendo eShop is fully supported and functioning for Switch at launch, we can confirm that it will be possible to purchase and play downloaded software at launch, but we are not sharing further details at this time.

So the controller things that come with it can we do two player games with those, like one/half each or would I need a second pair? Do I need a memory card also?

Depending on what you want to play, each player uses one of the two controllers that come with the console.

It has 32GB of internal memory. Unless you plan to buy digital games, I doubt you'll need to worry about memory cards for a long time as the internal memory will be used for save games.

Ahhh sweet mate, that's cool. So things like bomber man we'll just use one of the two controllers that come with it, sweet! Ahhh ok that's cool, I doubt I'll be getting digital games I still like physical things :D Thanks mate.

Yep, Bomberman, Mario Kart & Snipperclips use a controller each. For ARMS, you'll want another set of Joycons though. You can use a Pro controller for one person but it's not the same really.

I think that is 100% the case to be honest, the short term release schedule is very very light if you aren't a Zelda fan. I preordered mine because Zelda just resonates with me each time I play it :)

This. Pretty much zero reason to buy day 1 unless you're buying Zelda imo.

Unless you're looking to scalp of course.
