*** Nintendo Switch ***

Mines fine. Dunno what all the fuss is about. And it's pretty much docked halfway behind my tv :) no issues.
Same Tauren, I've not really had any issues and just had a 2 hour session of 1-2 Switch with mates there! Mines is behind the TV as well, problem is being blown out of proportion.

Not saying it isn't there but people are probably actively trying to recreate it. Hopefully some firmware/software updates will improve the situation however!

My friends were really impressed with it and now I'm off to bed...to play Zelda :D

Indeed ! I wouldn't have even known there was a problem had I not read it on here :p

Enjoy ! I've been playing it the last 6 or so hours. Really enjoying it. The environment. The music. The sound effects. Everything is brilliant. :D

Sitting on the couch playing in the same way I would with the PS4 is not actively trying to recreate it.

Taking a bean bag and sitting 4' away from a 55" screen and it still happening is infuriating. I can only assume it's very sensitive to other wireless devices or some of the internals are faulty in some of the left joy-cons.

I assure you it's very real, very annoying and certainly not a problem I want to have to put up with.

Such a lovely bit of kit, I know it ain't as powerful as a PS4 or Xbox but is amazing what Nintendo have squeezed into the Switch.

Wasn't sure about the joy cons at first but got used to them quickly, have a pro controller but spent the last hour or so just using the grip which was very comfortable.

Had about an hour playing with Zelda, Switch is definitely a good system. Quite impressive for a portable. Even though i was kinda against buying one until they hit a cheaper price, i got one with Zelda for 303.99 so not bad overall. I look forward to seeing what type of games come out for it, hopefully a lot from the SNES era like Pilotwings etc.

I hope they do a load of online co-op, vs games like the old Bomberman, Final Fight, etc. tons of potential really. Don't think this will be powerful enough to emulate a Gamecube, in fact I'm 99% sure it won't be able to, unless it has a custom chip. Still SNES games will do for me :)

Watching a steam of someone playing 1-2-Switch.

My GOD that is terrible. Such crappy little mini games. Even for a party game its garbage. And its selling for nearly £40?! From what I've seen I wouldn't pay £10 for it!

They are having a good chuckle with the games prices, aren't they? I can't see Arms being worth the money either.

Then there's Bomberman. And worse. Street Fighter 2 for $39.99 (£35?). It's a re-release of HD Remix, with a smattering of extra content.

Puts a bit of a damper on the Switch as a portable party console.

Agreed, the price is fantastic as I hear it feels quality too, which is a Nintendo trademark. It's just allocating time for me... PC, X1, PS4 + Retro, I do want a handheld though as Smartphones, Vita and 3DS(crappy right stick, and lack of buttons) just don't do it for me.

cracks up laughing - thats the one thing thats atrocious about the switch and its game is the actual price.

And yes I have actually held one and seen it being played - but the best part of £340 for a portable + 1 game is simply awful vfm , especially given the only headline game is on another older console and the majority of tech inside the switch is pretty old (and therefore should be much cheaper)

Price of the games is a complete rip off, and the peripheral pricing ....just cant stop laughing at your original comment

Anyone's left joy con remote used way more battery than the right? My right one is still showing as full but left is down to red.

I thought leaving them on the machine when docked would charge them? Even in sleep mode? What is the best way to charge them?
I've been using them in the grip pretty much exclusively.

I was doing the same, but 50" creep and 2-3 foot away. Never had an issue. But then I got my pro controller from Very and been playing with that since. The pro controller is very good, I would consider picking that up in your situation.

Mine were charging while I was playing on my pro controller, they both fully charged. In main menu under controllers you see if it is charging or not, maybe your did not click in properly.

The best thing about this device is being able to play in loads of different ways. For example last night. Started off in one room, then moved to another room with TV. Went to bed and held it handheld then detached the joy cons and had it as a screen as I lay in bed.

Yes it's not relatively powerful but if Nintendo can pump out some great exclusives then I am happy.

On charging I find typical 2.4a / 5v to be working fine

Do they charge whilst the console is in sleep mode too?

I've just left them connected to the console now whilst it's docked and on the home screen. See if that does anything!
