*** Nintendo Switch ***

Seems the Wii u loads the game faster on digital than the switch does via card or digital. Nice progress Nintendo ^_^

I am enjoying Zelda, just the system ain't worth the money with the old tech Nintendo shoved inside :(

The game was in development for over 4 years and it was built for the Wii U architecture, then ported over to switch at later date. At least they got it up to 900p on the switch and runs smoother on portable mode for some reason....

Great little console. Lots of nice touches and very well put together in my opinion. About to sit down for a good few hours to play zelda for the first time. Can't wait. Got the pro controller for £35 so will be using that. Can't wait until MK8 and other games come out for some multiplayer action.

You got the Pro controller for £35?? Can you please tell me where?

Same here, when more games start coming out for this device it'll be the ultimate mobile gaming system. They've laid the foundation here to build on, I can see future models increasing in graphical power and battery life down the line.

Because it's still running native 720p in portable mode and not 900p.

Doesn't sound like much difference, but it's 56% more pixels.

I've seen people on Reddit voicing their concerns over the obvious design flaw whereby the Switch is getting scratched when inserted into the dock. This isn't an isolated issue, and many people are buying screen protectors as a precaution.

Yeah I'm beginning to be concerned a little about the quality now. I did put a protector on both ours straight away.

My biggest problem I have noticed is the wifi reception is woeful. Our house has full bars everywhere (we have multiple routers), with every device at full bars yet the switch is always low.

Stolen from another site. That's a nasty scratch that for sure!

How easy was it to apply?

Easy - ish, yes and no.

Yes is that the protector is split into 2 parts.

There are 2 taps you pull off, the first is on the left and when you pull that off, you only take off about 1/6th of the left side. so now you can line it up against the left edge of the screen and then push it down with your left hand. With the finger down, and keep it down, use your right hand to pull off the 2nd tab. Then I let it go and it should line up because you lined up the left edge.

The hardest part is to prevent dust getting from the actual screen protector onto the cleaned screen between pulling off the 2nd tab because it is so close to the screen at that point. So it is important to clean BOTH the screen and the plaster part of the screen protector you are pulling off to prevent dust transferring.

Then I used a credit card to push any air to the edges.

( I hate doing these but I am quite good at it as I actually once put one on an iPad not only lined up perfectly but also 100% dust free. )
