*** Nintendo Switch ***

Does anyone here use their Switch predominantly in the docked/console mode?
That is how I feel that I'd use one, my question is to those that do: Are you happy with how it looks/runs on your TV?

The above is the only thing that is holding me back, the more I read the more it seems that this is better used as a handheld and that it is largely underwhelming when used docked.

I really don't think It'd get used as a handheld at all in my house.
All thoughts/feedback gratefully received
TIA
I thought I would be using mine 99% docked, but so far it has been closer to 50-50 as it is fun using it in bed and the toilet :)

I'm literally leaving Gannon until the very end

This game is far too good to complete and finish :)
Exactly. I will probably end up with 20 hearts before I even get to him. Love hunting down shrines and doing them :D

Also do not see the point rushing through it without making the most of it, as then I will be left with very little to play until MK8D comes out.

My guess is I will get 100+ hours out of it before I sell.

IGN Nintendo Voice Chat podcast was raving about it, think there is another DLC to come which is included in the price of the treasure trove.

Phwoar I've no idea how anyone could have completed Zelda yet. I've been playing for at least a couple of hours a day since the day after release day, up to maybe 6 hours straight in some sessions and I'm nowhere near completing it.... huge game!

When does the street fighter game come out. That is the only game I can think about that I would really enjoy. Just hope it is not £59.99 :p

Working away helps, being in a hotel room for a few nights a week = 5-6 hours a day easily, plus the travel down.

Maybe he tried to do a speed run so he can rush to get on with the rest of the switch's huge library of triple a games? :p

Just kidding McBain, each to their own ;)

Haha, i've seen some people doing a sub hour speed run.

I don't even feel like I rushed it, spent a lot of the time I played just aimlessly running around exploring. The main quest lines aren't very long at all. I think i estimated I got around 30 hours out of it but that was a conservative estimate, it was probably closer to 40.

Either way i'm happy with the time I got out of it, no real desire to chase more Korok seeds or finish all the shrines.

I've maybe done 20+ hours and I feel like I'm still at the start. I've just been exploring and haven't even done 1 beast yet

This is the first version I've played of it and I'm really enjoying it. This version comes with the two expansions packs and it plays like an old school NES style platformer.

Thanks I think I will go for it. I assume the Treasure Trove includes the new Specter of Torment expansion?

Thanks. Sorry but I am at work and most sites are blocked (like Yacht Club) so I'm having a hard time getting information. I'm sold. Will get it tonight.

Doing a quick sums from googles...

Was pondering the initial sales figures of the Switch and assuming the below figures are correct.

UK was 80k
Japan 330k
France 100k
Spain 50k

Thats 560k right there. Close to half a mil.

Not including other European & Asian countries or America!

Well actually a quick google says Nintendo America state it outsold the Wii and that sold 600k in its first 2 days. So thats easily over 1mil units in a few days.

Not bad!

(if accurate)

The Japan numbers are also only 3 days of sales. I read about the US numbers as well. Good news.
