Seem to be plenty available now, Sainsbury's, GAME and Argos all had stock when walking around town last night. I'm tempted after hearing all the positive things about Zelda, but going to hold off for now, as Zelda isn't worth £400 to me. Was really excited about Mario Kart but then found out it's just an enhanced version of the one that's been out for 3 years :(
Did you have the original one on the Wii-U? then if not this is in effect, a new game to you (and many many others)

What the hell at those hardware sales, Xbox One 117/147?! That's shockingly bad, those figures must be Japan surely?

Interesting that the Switch sales don't correspond with the Zelda sales. Madness to be buying a Switch and no Zelda :p

You don't have to spend £400 for a Switch and Zelda, even paying RRP it'd only be £340. Or are you thinking pro controller as well?

Yeah think I'd want the pro controller as well. I'd be using it plugged in to the TV for 99% of the time

When I was in Japan it was difficult to find Xbox Ones in the store...its just not a popular console there! Also I remember when 1-2 Switch debuted. I thought it would be a big hit in Japan, and look at those numbers! :p

I'd get one without a pro controller and see how you feel. I was going to get one but I've found the joycon grip surprisingly comfortable.

I'll only buy a pro controller if a £30 deal happens again

Yeah, the cancellation of Scalebound probably hasn't done them any favours over there, it reeked of a JRPG.

Yeah. £30 is a nice price for a controller. Any controller really. Any more and it becomes to much imo.

I am a bit sad at dropping £60 on one yesterday. But I'll easily get 60 hours from it. So not really that much of an expense.

Is it okay to use the USB C cable which is included with the pro controller to charge the Switch via wall plug (like included with any phone)?

With regular USB I'd have no issues using any old cable and plug but heard some USB C horror stories recently including a Google engineer who has been buying them randomly from Amazon to test and a number were very dodgy, to the point one killed his pixel chromebook.

Yep I did exactly that when I took the Switch on the road last week. Charged it just fine.

It is expensive but it is a lovely controller. The grip really isn't doing it for me. I am glad I have it even though I paid full price for it.

Agreed, I whinged a bit about the Pro pad price but it's excellent. Well worth the cash.

I used mine to charge from my power bank and it worked perfectly fine. It charged surprising well actually. I expected my power bank to only mange to keep it from discharging when playing, but it was charging while playing at a decent enough speed. About the same as when playing and charging from the dock I think. But can't be sure as time flies by when playing Zelda :p

Saved me nearly a tenner I was thinking on spending on a cable. So essentially the pro controller cost me closer to £20 in the end :D

What usage time is the pro controller? The joy cons are 20 hours, which isn't great. But not terrible...

Can't say exactly exactly in hours but 'very long'. I've charged it once and must've played 40 hours+ since then, it hasn't needed a top up.

20 hours is a lot. At least for me. I would never play 20 hours without docking in one go anyway I don't think.
