*** Nintendo Switch ***

Fired up Zelda for the first time this morning and really impressed. Maybe a fraction washed out looking on a decent TN even well setup and full range.

The joycons in the grip however coming from an Xbox one pad for PC just don't seem good enough though for this type of game!

Try messing around with the contrast/brightness. I lowered mine down a bit on my THX mode panny and it looks way better. :)

A lot of people tend to have their brightness/contrast turned up waaay too much. Which can wash out detail before you know it!

Google calibrated settings for your specific display and you'll be onto a winner :) - Did the same for the projector. My god it was like a brand new image!

Just don't follow the RGB colour corrections as every panel is different in that respect and you'll get weird colour tones (skin tones particularly) on your display.

If the colours look washed out when docked, check the RGB settings. Mine was set to Auto, changed it to full (TV supports it) and it looks much better.

RE: Binding of Isaac yeah that seems a bit steep, $40 so probably £36.... World of Goo worth a look for £8ish though.

I would say my workload this week has decreased at least 30% from this thing being so damn portable :(

Agreed. Oh well at least it's physical so I can pick it up second hand at some point, maybe. If they push the digital prices too high people just won't buy it.

So, do we know why Nintendo has locked the clock speeds of its machine? I mean I understand underclocking when in portable mode, but when docked the GPU only reaches 768mhz rather than its 1k potential? Is it the same with the CPU? Seems odd that they would limit its power in Docked mode?
