*** Nintendo Switch ***

If the colours look washed out when docked, check the RGB settings. Mine was set to Auto, changed it to full (TV supports it) and it looks much better.

RE: Binding of Isaac yeah that seems a bit steep, $40 so probably £36.... World of Goo worth a look for £8ish though.

Already in full. It's not bad by any stretch. I actually think it was partly down to the weather in the game at the time :D

Anyone else wondering when Nintendo will start charging reasonable prices for what are limited games. They seem to be charging £40+ for indie games or games that are fairly limited in their scope or value. I don't mind paying £45 for the likes of zelda, mario kart and mario but most of the games are just ridiculously prices.

Arms £50
Ultra street fighter II £35
Sonic Mania £50
Bomberman £45

Where are these new games on the UK eshop? Little Inferno is the only one I can see and that's listed under 'Coming soon' for 23/03 :/

Aaron Webber at Sega confirmed Sonic will be the same price on Switch as other platforms, so if we're getting ripped off at least everyone else is too.

The full price digital RRP might be £50 across them all but would guarantee that will be about £40 retail if not less.

Caved and picked one up this evening. Zelda is literally out of stock everywhere, so paid through the nose for the digital version. Can't wait for the DL to finish...

I'm a bit sad really...i'm just not finding the time i would like to put in to Zelda. Amazing game, but only about 6 hours in to what i think is a 40-odd hour game. Might sell the thing. :(

I picked up my Switch last night. I now need Zelda in my life but physical copies are no where to be found. I think I will cave and buy digital. I have £2.40 in my Eshop account.....that's helps the steep price lol

I did get 12 Switch which is great fun with the kids. Even the wife loves getting involved now!!

What's the rush?

I'm not very far either but games like Zelda dont come along very often so just enjoy the experience.

You can finish it in about 30mins probably...but it is not a 30min game or even a 40 hour game. Some one on IGN doing a guide has clocked 130hours+ and his completion percentage is 15%.

You wouldn't scratch the surface at 40 hours IMO.

My wife and I are on 50 hours without beating any of the divine beasts.

Trying their luck with the early adopters I think!

Honestly, this is something that is going to put off people from buying this console. People will look at the game prices and then say: "why buy the Switch for these games, when we can get them way cheaper on other platforms?"

But as for early-adopter tax... I'm reluctant to say that. I think it's just Nintendo's way of doing things, they rarely do sales and like to sell games for the max price possible for as long as they can. We'll know what this really is in about a years time, if these games still release with ridiculous prices.

But hey, at least it's not as bad as accessory prices... I still can't believe that the dock costs as much as the Joy-conns...

Yeah the accessory prices are a bit rich for my liking. Not enough to stop me buying them. But enough to make me double check and question whether i really need something or not.
