I still can't get over the price of Bomberman! If ever there was a game that should be £10, it's this. £20 would have been a rip off! Apparently it has less features re. multiplayer than the old versions too. Don't start me on the old port of Street Fighter!

Question for the Switch owners. When docked, what kind of sound output does it support? Will it do 5.1?

There is an option for surround, but you can bet it's Pro logic II or similar. Or PCM audio, the same as the WiiU. Nintendo won't pay the licensing fees for DTS etc.

Basically I wouldn't get too excited :)

Looks like PCM only, looks to be same audio chip (or similar) as the WiiU
 
Regarding the prices, I've not bought anything other than Zelda. The prices are just insane! And to be honest, if they don't change, I'll probably get my worth out of the key games and sell the Switch on. I'm not paying £40+ for an indie game!

As for the Orzly stand, is it flat enough to store inside the carry case?
 
What? Is Sonic Mania going to be £50? That seems like the sort of game to be a £20 at most Eshop game?

Not an attack on the switch of course, it seems like it's priced the same on all formats that's just crazy imo

Looking online I can only see Sonic Mania collectors edition for preorder. Which includes a load of cool stuff.

Yea same I don't actually know where the £50 on the previous page came from?

Maybe I shouldn't have ran with it as I too can't find any pricing online except the collectors edition, I just always assumed it's a £20ish title

I bought Bomberman, always liked the game but it's not worth more than £20. The single player mode is so boring and the multiplayer mode against the COM is really hard! Not in a fun way. You can't make them easier. Online was laggy but they said they have fixed that but I haven't tried.

In order to play all the stages you have to earn coins, mainly by playing the single mode or winning lots of games online. I paid £45 for this! I want all the stages! Oh and you can't play against other people online with a local player. I'm not enjoying it so far. LOVE the Switch though, just can't recommend this game at any price ATM.

Maybe there will be a cheaper e-shop version? Pure guessing though. It's been delayed anyway so we won't know yet.

Whilst it LOOKS like it should be a cheaper title, it's still been remade with stuff added, somethings gotta pay for that labour!

Yeah it's PCM 5.1, but Zelda is pretty good.

I think my sarcasm detector is broken. The audio is the worst part of Zelda as they are missing all of the great music that a Zelda mainline game should have.

It was intentional. Supposed to let the sounds of your surroundings take you in, well that was the plan. Whilst being complimented by subtle Piano. (according to the videos the other day)
