Finished off the Octopath Traveller demo. I'm so sold on this - initially the lengthy conversational cut scenes bugged me. But I stopped trying to rush through it and sat back, just enjoyed the story telling. It's great fun, really in depth.

23 hours into Hollow Knight, reckon I will comfortably hit 30 hours with this little beauty. I've enjoyed it way more than Celeste (which is also great) or Cave Story (which didn't do much for me). If you have even a passing interest in Metroidvania games then it's an essential purchase and a bargain at the price.
Which character did you pick ? I picked Hunter I'm enjoying the story too but the Shakespeare style dialogue got a tad annoyingFinished off the Octopath Traveller demo. I'm so sold on this

I went with the apothecary! He was fun. Ended up teaming up with the thief. Was great!
Oh, also. When I completed one characters storyline initial boss some kind of glitch happened and got like 1000 experience points. But hey the save file transfers over right
What type of attacks and abilities does he have ? With the Hunter you can catch beasts and then recall them to fight for you in your next battle she's also fun.

He can concoct potions and sorts during battle to hit enemies with different de-buffers and also can be a healer to your own team as well. He's got some (from what I experienced) attacking abilities as well. He was good fun, his and the thiefs backstory were good.
I did also get to the hunter just as the 3hr timer expired
- didn't know she could summon beasts she had captured before, that's awesome.There's an Ubisoft sale on the eShop. Rayman, Southpark and Mario+Rabbids are all discounted.

Why do i read this thread, just bought Hollow Knight now to add to the long list of games I have no time to play

Excellent choice! Have you played Mario+Rabbids or Rayman Legends? Both are currently on offer and among the best games in their genre.

How come your not playing the demo when the save file transfers over anyway ? It's basically the 1st 3 hours of the game, I'm on with it just to see if I like it which i do so far
Hollow knight got 9.4 on ign , which I completely agree with , just watched the video and it showed the map fully unlocked with each area , looks huge !

I have Mario+Rabbids, I was never a fan of the Rayman series, although it might be a good one for the kids.
I saw enough with the first demo to know that I'll buy it. Once I know I'll buy a game I don't read or watch anything about it until release unless it's a multiplayer only (or effectively, such as Splatoon) game.
Finished Hollow Knight Got 2 endings, the 3rd looks to be beyond my 37 year old body's dexterity as does an optional platforming section straight from Super Meat Boy.
Got my money's worth and then some, best platformer/metroidvania title I have played in years.
