I mean, ******* hell its 2024 and thats the ***** they are putting out. PS2 graphics and yet people will still eat it up. Its not remotely because its on the Switch, its because they are lazy AF.

I'm trying Links Awakening and the engine is garbage. Frame drops constantly even in the starter area.
Not trying to excuse it but I'd assumed this was a bit place holder-y and might improve for release. History doesn't suggest it will though...
Don't know anything about this leak personally, assume it's the A-Z one they're working on? Looks very samey (so of course I'll buy it because Pokémon).

Glitches are sometimes fixed but Gamefreak and co have been churning out graphically appalling games for a long time now. This is how it will look for the most part. They don't care. They print money no matter what they do.

That last Pokemon game was utter garbage. Easily the worst game I've bought on the Switch.
Game Freak are a joke, and completely incapable of making games for <current year>.
Edit: Actually wiped my save and started Violet again, just to see if I was being harsh on the game. I’m not. This is a terrible game, and the first 2 hours are just miserable, with very little gameplay. It runs like trash, STILL. The pacing is awful. It’s solely for the youngest children now, whereas I feel the original games can still be enjoyed by all ages.
I can’t imagine there are many games worse than this one, at this price point.

Good news; I guess also points to what we already know really that Switch 2 is going to be a more powerful replacement along the same lines as what we already have with Switch.
