That’s great help mate I have a Zotac 3090 to so will look at doing the bios upgrade. Thanks

Looks like they confirmed the 3090 will also come with a 1 slot bracket for FE. Likely not be an issue for most, but what I been waiting to hear for a SFX build before opening the card box!

such power with just one slot thickness.. impressive
I like what they did this generation with rear IO... I guess its partly due to getting rid of the DVI

update from EK: the wb will come with backplate and 2 set of terminals that the user can switch between. One with 2 ports on the side and one with a conventional 4 g1/4 ports, the total length of the blocks is 205mm for 3080 and 230mm for 3090

Such a classy looking block. expect the price to match!

Oh amazing and it looks like black and silver on offer?

The got a post on it: https://www.facebook.com/EKWaterBlocks/

We see that there is some debate about the port placement on the 3080 Founders Edition Vector water block, so let us address that topic. Rest assured that everything was well thought out. The water blocks will come with an included backplate - in a silver finish in case of the black water block and vice versa - and two sets of connection terminals so users can swap them out if needed. One terminal has two direct G1/4" ports on the side, while the other one is more conventional with four G1/4" ports going through the terminal.

I would have loved to see all silver option but possibly pick up seperately and imagine in real world, the black and silver contrast works well.

That is both the block on front and backplate. I expect ridges there add a bit more surface area which will good for some of the components on the back of the FE PCB. TBH also adds a nice texture then solid backplate.

god i need this i just woke up and saw on facebook, the 3080 is soon and as above sometime in november the big boi 3090 will be avalible, be good as hopefully i'll have a 5950x by that time and hopefully crack that magic 20k timespy score :)

Looking at the diagrams the power plug placement is wrong though and leaves me concerned in regards to the proprietary plugs. May have to wait for reviews on this.
