NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

Considering how little they usually allow their partners to make, tipping the balance so far in their favour as to cut their "partners" out of the majority of sales altogether shows questionable morals IMO.

Nvidia morals lol. If there was a profit in slitting peoples throats and they thought they could get away with it they would.

The 3090 is now irrelevant because of the Ti
It's not, because it's the best card going and people will pay for the best, it has insane VRAM etc. The 3080ti is irrelevant because it's worse than the 3090 but unlike the 3080 you don't save much by getting one.

The 3080ti pricing is just wrong, it's halfway between 3080 and 3090 but performance is closer to 3080 than 3090, worse for productivity and likely to age worse due to VRAM limits.

The 3080Ti is actually faster in most games compared to the 3090 isn't it though...more power to the gpu as half the ram.
10% difference between 3080 and 3090 if ram isn't a factor...

There seems to be some overlap - some people with a poor/average boosting 3090 are seeing the same or even a smudge faster performance from a good boosting 3080ti.

But they will still sell out unless the mining gimp is real and the high prices were actually being paid by miners rather than gamers.
I certainly wouldn't pay £1k+ for any gpu but there are many with money to burn.

Yup. There will be low quantity, and with current prices they will be snapped up by people just wanting to get a card, even if the miners are not interested in them. Crying shame.

Not sure any of it matters, not like you can buy it or get anything at a good price.

I’m leaning towards waiting for 4000 series.

Oh my, that's from a UK retailer. Over 3k for an MSI GPU.

If all the UK retailers take this stance and absolutely take the **** out of us then the PC gaming industry may as well be dead. 2.5-3K+ for a GPU!!!!!

When will people learn, the problem is the retailers are scalping us, charging 3k for this GPUs in order to rip off customers

These LHR GPUs are meant to be for gamers, Absolutely ridiculous pricing! Designed to ripp off.

This is going to make the GPU industry even worse!

Hopefully it's just one bad retailer, if they all do that then we're screwed because it'll be the same for years to come at every GPU launch.

From what we have seen through this pandemic, they will all do that to ripp off customers collectively. I reckon they will price it from £2.5k to 3k+. Then make up excuses. Remember this is to play video games as well, hence the LHR , absolutely awful.
