NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080Ti to be "available" on June 3rd, RTX 3070Ti on June 10th

That's me done. What a waste of 1 hour and 20 mins pressing F5. I didn't really want a 3070ti but was hoping they would do a drop like last week and try for a 3060ti or 3070 FE but I haven't seen anything at all drop. What a sad state of affairs. :(
There was a 3060Ti FE drop last week? I thought they didnt make them anymore?

god ive been checking for over 2 hours now
i guess we all have to remember that its best to go into this with the mindset that we wont get a card
or else there's gonna be a whole lot of disappointment lol.

Anyone know any new information about the OCuK drop besides the potential for those in the 3080 queues to get first dibs?

Is there anyway for the PC industry to get behind trying to illegalize scalping?.
Ironically, the only laws that exist relating to pricing would actually make it illegal for us to even talk to our "competitors" about this. Originally intended to stop retailers fixing pricing at an inflated price, but the axe swings both ways.

Yeah, oligopoly/cartel laws are incredibly complicated in practice unfortunately
even if the intent- like with you guys- is to help the consumer

Why would they care? As long as demand outstrips supply they are happy. It's not like concert tickets where the they can only sell n tickets due to capacity of the venue. With gfx cards atm they can just keep increasing capacity, it's like being able to run a concert in two or three places at the same time.

I doubt it, they ain't selling any are they?

They've got a few models in stock online (of the 3080 anyway - didn't check anything else) - I can't imagine anyone paying those prices but they do offer returns/warranty so maybe their customers figure its less risky than ebay?

Has it been confirmed no 3070ti's actually dropped at all?

From OcUK, yes, they have not put theirs up as the supply is too small. Some competitors claim they sold out in under a minute, as the quantities they had were tiny (single figures suspected).

Nobody knows anything definite about FE, but it's suspected there's been no drop yet.

On OcUK i believe so yes, I recall (and mentioned myself just a little higher up) that they deliberately did not drop the 3070tis because they want to combat bots and scalpers as much as possible and are figuring out a method to do so

theres not a way imo, there are scalpers amoungst on here and plenty imho, though its pretty sad to come on forum pretend to be a gamer or whatever when your intention is strictly scalping

If they are delaying the FE drop on purpose, I dont see the point. All this does is make genuine gamers drop out of trying and just leave the bots to monitor the pages for when they do actually drop.
At least knowing when they drop gives humans a fair crack at trying to snatch at least some of them away from bots.
Maybe numbers were so low that even the scalpers didnt get any.

Well I'm out. Good luck everyone if you're still in this.

I only managed to "see" prices of two of Gigabyte's 3070Tis, usual OC model going for £720 and Aorus for £815. But then those too disappeared.

Im in the same boat
I have got my 1070 and ive been waiting for an opportunity ever since the 20 series lmao

I'm on a 970 (fleabay stopgap after my 290x failed), and the 30xx series was my big upgrade for the next few years.

It's getting really tiresome now. By the time prices stabilise it might be worth waiting for the 40xx.
