Tried it at 1500Mhz and stock and it is the same. GPU temp is under 65.c under load.

Is a bit weird.

Cannot get my 970GTX to start up. No display and a white LED light near the power. Is that an error light or do all 970'x have a white LED?

Try a different PCI-e slot if available

Good idea but didn't work. Tried 3 sockets and two LCD's nothing

. Put my 680 back in and everything works.

Motherboard on it's latest bios? If not, update and give that a try.

Ive just done this but strangely the fan RPM is much lower now :confused:

At 100% fan speed the RPM is only 2300 (I think it was 4000+ on the old bios)

Is it the same for you? If not..any idea why its doing that for me mate?

Nah you are right there is definitely some bottleneck going on there.

Comparison of yours via mine and your cards oc'd a bit higher. Our overall scores are close (due to me having no HT) but you can see your GPU scores are too low.

Here is my 970 Gaming. Apart from Shadow of Mordor I see no difference in game between this and my 980.

Maybe I should re-run it and see if it's better, cause if I am bottlenecked, surely you should be too.. :confused:

Your score seems low because you're comparing with systems that are running W8 and your on W7. W8 makes a huge difference in scores compared to W7 in Firestrike.

I see. Just ran it again, not much difference in the score. Annoying Windows make such difference

Yup! nothing to worry about, your Cpu will cope with a pair of 970's absolutely fine.
