NVIDIA GTX 970 OWNERS THREAD

You can get the memory on the G1 much higher? 7Ghz effective, unless I've misunderstood.

Also, my G1 has insanely bad coil whine. I'm faced with moving my PC or as I've done raised an RMA request for advice.

I bought a new PSU (Corsair CX750) at the same time, so if I am told that could be the issue then that goes back for a seasonic unit

Really upset about the coil whine, it pains me to say, but I like a fairly quiet PC.

currently getting 65oc on water full load in furmark on sli anyone else running on water and sli was wondering what yours tops out at after 30 minutes ?
 
Hi, does anyone here have the Coolermaster Haf 922 case? Wondering if I get the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1

will it fit inside, or should I go for MSI or Asus

Should be fine,i have 2 in mine and you have around an inch to spare.(oo-er missus)

Edit....hmm maybe ignore that :) ....sorry i have the HAF X 932,not the 922 so im not sure if your dimensions are the same.Sorry man.Nearly gave you a bum steer their :(

No worries, I went and bought the MSI one as it's smaller and will definitely fit. I think the Gigabyte would have fit if I removed one of the HDD cages, but didn't want to take the risk for a bit extra performance.
 
I assume BIOSs aren't interchangeable between brands? I have a Palit and am trying to get an updated BIOS version which may fix a DP issue (as advised by nVidia).
 
Is the G1 about the same length of the Windforce 3 versions?

I have just had a reshuffle to fit a GTX770 into my case. Which for one reason or another is no longer going to be living in there.
