NVIDIA GTX 970 OWNERS THREAD

A few of us were having instability in games when adding any extra volts for overclock, is that still the case after a couple driver releases?

Could a driver release cure this issue?

The file from post #85 if you can please

Basically I need NVFlash that can Bypass the checks and the latest BIOS Editor, think it's version 1.36 Beta?

Here you go.

Nvflash and maxwell editor. Ignore the .roms in the folder, they are for my MSI card.

Remember to disable the graphics driver in device manager before flashing otherwise it wont work

Was going to buy two 970s then realised my mobo doesn't support sli  also g1 970 won't fit in my case, the £ all adding up!

Get yourself either an MSI or Asus, both are nice cards and shout fit in your case. You can always replace your mobo and buy a second card somewhere down the road if you feel like you'll need more horsepower.

Only running 1080p at the moment so won't need to SLI right now, but thinking about moving to 1400p in the future, will a single MSI be okay or would I need two?

Depends on the title, you might need to lower some settings in the most demanding games. Other than that, it should do fine (especially overclocked) but it wouldn't hurt to have two at that sort of res.

I have one MSI at 1400p. It's fine, but I think two would be perfect. Infact I'm very tempted to sli!

344.80 drivers available which has a fix for anyone having issues with displayport. I haven't tried them yet myself, but will have a go this evening:

I've put these on. But I still have DP issue, ie. once I've uninstalled nvidia drivers with driver cleaner, when I boot to windows my monitor doesn't work. Luckily I have another monitor on DVI, which does work. Seems silly if you only had a DP monitor. How would you do anything?!?!

I've installed them and have not had any issues yet. Some users on the Geforce forums are saying they work.
