Hi All,

Can anyone please confirm the PCB size for the Gigabyte G1? Just need to check it will fit in my case with full cover waterblock on it. From what I can tell from pictures, the heatsink and back plate extends a fair way past the PCB.

Cheers

970 is close to twelve 11.8 i think.

30 cm

Only 1519Mhz, water cooling these cards doesn't give a lot more head room to honest, even modding the BIOS doesn't give you a lot.

Gigabyte G1?

Should be able to get more, many G1 owners get 1500+ on the standard bios let alone the custom (GameStable Bios)

Not been happy with my temperatures on my Palit Jetstream (or rather the fan speed needed to keep it under 80°C), so I've ordered an Accelero Xtreme III for it, that should help I hope :)

i popped into the showroom and picked up a Galax version as per everyones recommendations.

It fits in my SG05 perfectly and runs on the 450W PSU

Now when i ran a quick test of heaven valley in the window it was showing GPU @1506mhz but after checking GPU-Z log file it was boosting @ 1417mhz.

Still very happy (even with the coil whine)
