Nvidia GTX 980 Owners Thread

where can i find the Evga bois which fixes the Display port issue ?

I have NVidia Reference cards with no vendor apart from Nvidia of course as these cards are Dell OEM .

My BIOS is 84.04.1F.00.02 .

would 84.04.1F.00.86 be ok with my 3 cards .

my cards are 75.5 , 72.1 and 73.4 ASIC quality .

also has anybody used "TrickMasterPC" custom rom on a reference card ?

Got my card under water. Getting 1600 core and a vastly improved 7900 on mem. Volts @ 1.25.

Card idles about 4c above coolant (28), and peaks at around 10c above coolant (42). I don't think I'll bother with a custom bios as gains will be minimal.

Despite its pitfalls, I'd love to pair it up for SLI but... those prices now!

There really is no need for SLI with these cards at clocks 1550/4000+

Well impressed with the performance of one card. 980Ti should be a monster of a card if the 980 performance is anything to go by!

Mine will do me fine till full fat Maxwell comes out.

I was dead against going back to SLI but all this talk of stacked memory in DX12 has got me interested again.

... And now I see the Gigabyte G1 Gaming is on offer!

This, I'm happy with mine now. Until something better comes along.....

Happens overclocked or not, and only in SWTOR. Everything else is fine.

There are quite a lot of posts on this on the web of people have the same issues after patch 3.0.

Have you run and checked the log in GPU-Z?

Also have you a modded Bios. sorry if asking questions that maybe in the thread but it;s soo long.

Hey Strudders how are you finding the iChill ? It doesn't seem a very popular choice but I am finding it a lot better than the KFA I had previously. I don't like the little fan on top its a bit whinny. Runs really cool and will do 1542mhz on stock. Have you altered the bios and if so what did you change ?

Hello!

I am loving it.

It runs so cool even under stress has never been over 63c. With my case fans it is silent. Also clocks well. I am achieving a stable 1563 at stock voltage on Heaven, which give me a 1990's score.

Not confident to alter the bios but I suspect it could go higher.

What does yours boost to at stock? I am reporting 1392

But it does not like voltage above stock on Fire Strike and I have a fairly low reported boost of 1544 before driver crashes. However that is still 13400 range at a usable stable clock.

I am playing Skyrim at the moment with ful DSR and HD packs and it just sits at 60fps.
