Seems like the right choice, think I'll go the reference card route. Im using a H440 so airflow isn't great so a blower style cooler is needed really. And the reference one look's hella sexy!

I have a 980 ref at 1440p with a Phanteks Evolv. Temps are amazing. reference cards blow heat out the back of case. Custom cooler cards are not good for cases like ours. I prefer ref anyways, always have.

The Overlockers own one I reckon, its the cheapest and allows me to remove the awful green paint from the GTX logo on the side without voiding the warranty (I think, just waiting for confirmation from OCUK support - although that is the case on the 970 so cant see the 980 being any different)

Hello guys. I got a little problem here. My gpu is running at 1473mhz core and 2100 memory. And I run the no limits bios.
The card I'm using is gigabyte gtx 980 g1 gaming.
Here comes the thing. I use 122 powerlimit or 120 not sure.
And I use 20+ mw. And even if I use 100+ mv I still can't get higher core clock.
My temps are fine btw. Never over 60celsius. Asics around 73%

Is it possible to achiev higher core clock?
I thought I could burn my card with this bios. But it doesn't seems like it.

May I ask has anyone played dying light with a gtx 970? I have the Asus strix 970 and the coil whine is really bad on just that game for me. Please let me know thanks.

Does anyone know if the KFA2 980 SOC is compatible with any waterblocks. EK's website says none of theirs are.

They actually both boost to 1350MHz (Stock) and run near silent at load.

My experience with the KFA2.

Boosts to 1404Mhz, silent at idle, a gentle whoosh at load which is 70% fan and around 70c. Virtually zero coil whine.

Probably go for the kfa2 good price at 400. Only thing is 281mm size and my case fits a maximum of 281mm... Will it be okay sliding in?

I mean roughly 50fps, medium settings.

Please tell me what u think about performance in 4k games with single 980.
Only from ur own experience not from benchmarks.

should be a decent upgrade from my 570 - just hope the beast fits in my Antec 1200 case. I need to move an hdd or 2 for it for certain

My G1 Gaming has just shipped, just waiting for my ROG Swift to ship too.

I've had a few Gigabyte cards, and have found them to OC well and the WF cooler is excellent, too.
