OcUK Dieters Progress Thread

I have no idea if the 3% is any good given the time frame but it's a loss none the less so me = happy !

Nice one

Just given myself a weigh in, currently at 149lbs. Started off at 175lbs (damn company paid hotel meals). Been on this since Jan. After moving to a house I can walk to work which is about 1.5 miles each way. I am getting there slowly

Had my final weigh in on Friday at work for the sponsored slim. Start weight was 101kgs and final weight was 90kgs. All of us raised £615 for Cancer Research which was pretty good.

So now Im carrying on on my own now. Lost 11kgs in 12 weeks but am aiming to lose another 10kgs or so to put me in the 12.5-13 stone mark.

Glad everyone is sticking it out and doing so well :)

Monday Morning weigh in ..

Same as last week !

I'm not too bothered because last week I had 1 portion of takeaway chips and also chinese on a weekday :o

Doing 2 extra classes this Friday so will hopefully see a loss next Monday !

How long have you been doing it Piggymon? IIRC for the first few months of dieting the fat cells gain water to cater for the weight loss so it isn't such a shock for the body. So at first it may seem a little slow compared to those celebrity fit club shows, but it will pick up :) And the work all of you have been putting in will show :D

Been dieting since about November last year but it's only the last 6 weeks or so I've got my exercise sorted out and also I've been having problems with my contraceptive implant so that didn't help :/

It came out 2 weeks ago so hopefully that will settle a little but I think I'm over halfway there now :)

Did body attack last night - jesus it's hard work ! .. I came out feeling exhausted and was in bed by 9pm haha

I'm meant to be doing attack followed by Legs, Bums and Tums on Friday but I think I'll give the attack a miss and just do the LBT otherwise I shall be a collapsed heap on the floor :o

Another 2lb lost. Now 14st 2lbs, was 15st 10lbs.

Pretty chuffed but I want to see 13st on the scales, then I'll be really chuffed. I realise it could be water weight to a certain extent, so I'm not getting too over excited.

Unfortunately my football season has finished now so I'm missing out on one session of football a week. I might have to substitute that with an extra swimming session or jogging - never done jogging before!

about the same as me, thing is your doing many different things, on one hand your building muscle on the other your trying to lose weight. Both things cant normally be tackled fully together.
Building muscle will generally mean a lower bf% which always helps :D
im hoping for atleast 1% less this month!

its funny measuring bf%, i know that im not going to be much under 18 stone unless i lose a lot of muscle or bone or whatever!

I've injured myself :/

I've twinged behind my right knee doing squats in circuits tonight :(

It's not hurting just feels a little twingy, currently sitting here with an icepack on it

Going to be out of action for at least a week ... gutted :(

Ouch sorry to hear that mate :(, I thought I ****ed up my sholder at the gym... Luckily I managed to run it off....

I've got a question for someone who could help... For some reason the amount of food I "crave" has shoot up, I still seem to feel hungry an hour or so after eating :s... I'd hardly say I don't eat much, I had a big fat bowl of pasta and four cheese only to feel hungry later.

Could there be any reasoning for this? I've been going to the gym *almost* daily for the last month (and 3 times a week the month before) and its only recently that its happend. I'm quite worried I'll end up building fat up again opposed to toning up :s

Well, the time has come. Lost ALL my enthusiasm. I'm still eating OK, but gym has lapsed badly.

Still going to the gym, but it's very patchy and I've not made 3 times for weeks.

Not gained any weight, but not lost much either so I need to get my finger out tbh.

New start after the bank holiday.

Just thought I'd post in here to remind myself how useless I am :(

Well done to all those still going.

Very similar situation to me Kate..... ever since you posted about cheap ice cream in IRC it's not been the same!!

My eating hasn't generally been too bad, but I've only lost 2 or 3 lbs in the last month, whereas I was comfortably hitting 2-3 lbs per week before.

I'm also home from Uni for 2 weeks for Easter so have no gym access, and my bike is also at Uni.... and I'm quite litterally working silly long hours getting my final year project done. Bugger.

Ah I'll get back on the bandwagon. Think I'm going to donate my beloved MiniEggs Easter Egg to my hungry boyfriend as punishment for being a lazy pigdog :(

Nah, eat them and get back on the wagon after easter. Might as well enjoy yourself for a few days if you'e determined to keep going afterwards!

LOL, you're the best.. you know that? Well... I guess it DOES have an eat by date for July so I can always save it for when I've lost another 45 stone :)

*pokes Kate* My turn to be Ms Motivator !!

You're doing so so well and you ARE getting somewhere just take a bit of time out over Easter and then get right back on it ! :D

I only wish we lived closer so we could go to the same Gym and Classes .. now that would ROCK !

I'm going to Pump tonight because I can't bear the thought of not doing anything for a week, I'm just going to miss out the Squats and Lunges to rest my leg - Feels fine this morning but I don't want to make it worsen and be out of action for even longer :/

well the bathroom scales tell me ive lost no weight, but im damn sure ive lost bf%.

the weights im using are going up and up and up so i know im putting plenty of lean muscle on!
will have to wait for my review to see just how much. Would be nice to see 2% come off!
