OcUK Dieters Progress Thread

Thanks Guys :D

Despite training for this, I noticed in my Race for Life Pics that I'm far from the bikini babe of Ibiza of last year :(

A lot of work will have to be done once I move..

I think my main bad is eating, love my food and need to eat healthier.

Keep up the good work everyone!

I'm down 3.2lb since my last (and first) post and have burst through the 240 barrier for the first time (weighed in at 239.6lb this morning). Very pleased with my progress. Now I've got my sights set and im gunning for 235. Best of luck to everyone participating in this thread. It can be done! Just believe in yourself :D

Today I hit 403.3 Miles on the bike speedo since the 12th of April, its made me so fit. Thats nearly 7 miles a day, plus some days I didnt have the speedo connected so its more like 450 miles.

The weather now is bloody great for biking and Im getting a tan on the way home from work and I aint sat in the traffic jams, which is great. I wish biking would improve the upper body because my legs are like steel now, anybody wanting to loose weight you need to bike to work ( spring/summer) if its not too far, the first few weeks are hard but you will end up rather biking than driving,

I have an interesting predicament, I got down to my within 15 stone mark, but a week later I am 16 5 again but no fatter in terms of gut inches. So it is not really a setback but is irritaating really. :(

I also have sunburn on my face from using the excersise bike inside on a southern facing room. :D

I don't know, I would like to think my legs have gotten about 6 pounds buffer in 7 days but I don't believe it. I think I am going to go with the retaining water excuse/lie. :p

It's great isn't it? Have you found yourself making excuses to go for a 10 mile ride-out at the wekends yet? ;)

Yup, I went watching the England game on Saturday down at my mates, I rode down thinking I was gonna ride back home, ended up having about 15 cans during the day and night and slept on his couch, rode home the next day hungover. :D

Going ride to Wigan and watch the game this Saturday on the bike but I'm only gonna have 4 pints, hope the rozzers dont stop me.

OK.

Monday morning weigh-in.....Drum roll............

15st 2lbs \o/ that's 4lbs lower than my last one  (actually lost 6lbs as I was up to 15st 8lbs when I came on the rig :o )

Mostly down to a couple of busy days running up and down stairs.
If I can get to below 15st before I leave the rig on Sunday, I'll be a happy bunny :D

Although I'm not trying to lose weight, I am trying to lose 'chub', and theres no better way to do that than just going for a 45-60 minute jog every day. Its not so hard when you consider in your remaining free time won't be active at all (If you are anything like me!).

And I lost like four stone. That was too much weight to lose, but I personally don't find losing weight that hard. just keep a strong mind :)

im starting to sweat as much doing weights as i do doing cardio!

sometimes on the bike i have to wipe it down after due to the sweat that drips off of my head and face onto the bike unit! not nice, but well good :D

im thinking i will be 19 stone at next weigh in (just under 2 weeks). want to lose more and more bf tho, once im down to about 17% i can start hitting the weights good and proper!
