Underboss
I had it higher up originally, but the balance was not right, needed more weight further down
I find that I still need one more weight as the battery pack is not heavy enough, which I'd place just above the back where the straps go to the sides and over-the-counter top, then i think it be perfect , but as it stands it's good
So new to this. So far a much better experience than the PSVR.. Loved Lone Echo and can't wait for 2.
Question though...I'm seeing different prices for games on the Oculus store. So I get sale items on my phone app which mirrors the headset store, yet the PC store app which i use to run the link the sale prices aren't showing. My account is linked yet had to repopulate wishlist and when i buy a game it doesn't show in both headset library and pc app one. I understand some games are for each one only but this isnt the case for the apps in question.
Cheers,
ahh sussed it. One is Quest store and the other is Rift. Confusing like. So i guess the games will look better on the rift version but have to play tethered.
Hi all,
Bit late to the VR game after historically only trying the original Oculus WAY back when.
I recently borrowed a PSVR off my Brother in law, and after getting a bit too into beat saber, and playing blood and trust I started to look at PC alternatives.
Few questions if anyone with a bit of time can help me with?
1. Does anyone have experience with the PSVR and the Q2? Is the image a lot sharper? as the PSVR is really quite "blurry" to my eye despite calibrating as best as I can.
2. BeatSaber, can this be run on PC and allow customer or larger song library unlike the restricted PSVR version?
3. Can you use BT headphones or similar for a good experience? The reviews i have quickly read dont mention the sound at all?
4. Do games come on sale on occulus store often? and can all the other VR stores or games be used with it (Steam etc.) to make use of a full library? I tend to only buy games when they are on "special/Sale".
I cant quite get over how reasonable the cost is now, vs how well everyone rates the q2? Am i missing anything or any drawbacks to the overall experience?
Thanks in advance.
Is the game worth getting? I've read some positive reviews. Also, it seems to be £7.99 on humble bundle but that might only be on steam and not direct on the quest. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/racket-nx
I came from PSVR. Loved Blood & Trust and its currently my No1 VR game but Lone Echo gave it a good run for its money.
In terms of graphics the Q2 is lightyears ahead of PSVR. This from the Q2 is what i expected the PSVR to provide but sadly let me down. You can actually read text, it's a miracle!
Ah thanks for the info, I would love to be able to try one before commiting, but i guess thats not possible at the moment because of Covid in anyone retail space.
Anyone know of the best deal at the moment for anything 128GB or higher? I would mainly play on the PC (assume with a link cable - amazon sell a much cheaper one is this any different?)
