Nope, still can't get it comfortable. To stop it moving around I need to have it really tight. Still can't get it in focus.

The battery as a counterweight makes zero difference. It feels the same as the kiwi.

Elite battery strap arrived. Still the same. Feels no better than the kiwi. In order to get anything in focus, I have to have it sit on my nose which makes me feel like I've got a cold.

Im only using this head strap, and I have the same problem,, the picture quality is best when resting on my nose.

Weird issue with my Q2 and my newly installed 3070. When I try to launch Air Link, it launches but it unusable. The view looks odd; sometimes the image is OK but most of the time the view looks stitched together and it has this weird kaleidoscope straight line effect to the sides. The more you move you head, the more garbled the whole image becomes. Finally the hand tracking is completely off, it registers my hands but trying to select anything is almost impossible. Any ideas?
have you been messing with the oculus debug tool by any chance?
No/not that I know of.

That's odd, Airlink normally works better with Nvidia cards. When you launch Airlink, can you see what the bitrate is set at? It might have been set at max, which would be 100Mbps for AMD cards but 200Mbps for Nvidia cards. 200Mbps would be too high for the 3070.

Problem is that it's so hard to navigate anything, it's like being really drunk in VR but I thought I briefly saw 100Mbps for bitrate. Strange as Air Link has worked flawlessly for me up until now, perhaps a touch better than VD. Glad VD still works and runs well now though.

depends what you are playing, SteamVR games use VD but Airlink for Oculus titles, that said I find Airlink generally the better of the two.

Conclusive proof that time travel exists.... responding to a post in the future.

Might have spoken too soon, VD runs well but there seems to be some stuttering here and there.

It might be worth running DDU and removing all the AMD GPU drivers and all the Nvidia GPU drivers from your system. And reinstalling the latest drivers for your 3070.
