*** Oculus Quest 2 Owners Thread ***

About half the games in the bundle are unplayable on quest as far as i can tell. Unless there is a controller fix coming....

No complaints for the price, but buggy as hell.

I take this back, not sure what I did but seems to be working now on VD if I launch from Games.

Quite surprised you can buy saints and sinners plus extra for 13 quid, when it's much more in the shop.

Glad you got it working. It's always advisable to start games from with the games section of Virtual Desktop if possible.

echo VR may as well be renamed furniture destroyer. punched the glass window on the oven a few days ago luckily the parents didnt see

Really enjoying Creed as a workout game. I know thrill of the fight is highly recommended too, but seeing as creed came with the bundle, I'm happy!

Got knocked down once by my latest opponent, and wobbled a few times, need to know when to punch and when to stop. Unfortunately in the opportunities you have to batter someone when they're bruised etc, I don't think quick enough to move to them using the hand swings, and don't have enough space to comfortably just move forward myself onto them.

I really like TOTF, it seems to reward good boxing more. But Creed has better graphics and the gamey stuff like slo mo is fun.

I've never accidentally knocked someone out on TOTF, but happens quite often with Creed....

What is the Oculus store like for sales? Just had a 25% off code as a new user and am tempted to use it for Beat Saber, but wondering if there will be better deals in Black Friday or maybe Christmas. Have they had any decent sales historically?

They rarely have any decent sales. I don't think they will have any offers for Black Friday either since the Quest 2 is not long after release. You probably wouldn't be able to use the the 25% off code on games with discounted prices anyway, so it's probably best just to use it to buy a game you want.

Beat Saber is worth full price.

Managed to find a 10k mah powerbank that's a similar size to the pd redux, but far cheaper. I'll fit it into the back of my headstrap and just pad it out so it doesn't fall out. Hoping the missus doesn't spot it come in the post, if she does, it's not the end of the world, but it does mean we'll have 4 power banks... I'll just say that some of them are slow charging, so I've got us a better one...
