*** Oculus Quest 2 Owners Thread ***

I find that so frustrating people have theirs. I think I was one of the first to post up I ordered one, it was within a few mins of them being released. Last update I have is it leaving Germany on Friday!

obviously delighted for those that do :p:D

Dont think my VRCover has even been dispatched yet. AliExpress head strap is at "Shipment accepted by airline".

Fingers cross both here before christmas!

Is there a definitive list of accessories?

I managed to snag a head strap from ali for ~£15, but I'm after the face covering thing - one that is wipeable, because I want others to try and not feel it's a bit 'gross' sticking your forehead and face where someone else has! But there's so many options so want to get a good one.

Then there's a table tennis adapter, only one on Amazon but again, quite a few options - rather get the 'right' one.

Finally, is it worth getting a lens protector - any specific advice on that front?

Since buying this I have not played any non VR games. I have a slew of new non VR games which I can't be bothered to play now. This thing is such good quality both the image and implementation. I think they did it right this time. Coming from a CV1 which was great and all, this is like a breath of fresh air.

VR cover is the best to get.

Table Tennis adapter, do you really need one?

There are Grips from Mamut that get good reviews.

As for the lens protector, if you are the main user of the Quest 2, you might consider getting Prescription lens inserts.

Same :) I don't even play many PCVR games!! It's mainly Quest 2 games for me at the moment.

so im looking at prescription lenses

Widmo VR only goto -8 , so not low enough, so they are out

VR Optician want £121 without Blue lens protect

Anyone have Audio Trip? Love it though the song selection is a little light and it doesn't seem to have the support for custom songs like BS.

Just stumbled across this on Reddit

It would appear you can run virtual desktop without the need for a fancy router.

Guy goes on a bit so I've not got round to watching it yet

You could always connect the Quest/Quest2 to a PC with a wireless adapter.

The reason that people are buying routers is that the developer of Virtual desktop claims that a router is better.
