Are there not any differences between superhot for pc and it for quest like graphical downgrades? I bought Onward for quest, there are distinct graphical differences. Then I soon learnt about virtual desktop and wireless hookup of pcvr games and quest so I refunded my quest onward and bought it on pc to play it wireless in full graphical glory.

with the Quest 2 updates to make it look better and introduce 90Hz, there's not noticeably any difference from what i can tell my googling

to me, its not worth getting a game like that on the PC if you have a quest 2

Ah right so quest version is better if anything, buy the quest version then. Plus there's no faffing about with your pc so you can stream it.

This is not something I have tested as I do not use wireless or have tried that game. Could it be worth while if you have a really high end GPU to have it on the PC over Quest as you can run higher settings like higher levels of FSAA. Not sure how that translates over wireless as I personally prefer Elite style games with a USB cable so never tried it.

i dont think there be any difference if at all

you could always buy both from oculus store
refund within 14 days (max playing time 2 hours)
refund the one you don't want

A game like Superhot is not graphically intensive so an easy win for the Quest version...something more strenuous, like Saints and Sinners...well I'm keeping my PSVR version for now.

I smashed my face off the door, the first time I played it! It's insanely good fun though :D

Cheers bud, what do you mean VRing away from computer? I thought you have to be close to your computer using the cable?

Any shorter alternatives?

Also are you using the usb c port on the front or back of your rig?

Buy a long enough cable and you don't have to be close :D. Or use Virtual Desktop, which effectively streams the game from your PC over your WiFi (or of course just play standalone games on the headset).

I have my computer in the living room which is a long rectangle. It’s a bit too narrow where the computer is and where the TV is so the 20 ft cable should take me down the front end away from both.

Of course if I am happy with Virtual Desktop and not needing a cable, I shall not bother with one.

I will be using the USB On the back of the computer as my mobo has dedicated VR USB sockets.

I have not had time to fully test so maybe there will be issues but my 1st plug in of my 5m usb cable into my 570 tomahawk motherboard to put my quest2 in rift mode is very promising indeed. My old X99 motherboard I think was usb 3.0 and it only connected at ,2.3-2.4

However into the superfast usb on my tomahawk it benched at 2.9.
From what I have read that is pretty much as good as it getsnfornusb transfer rates in the Oculus link test.

Thanks for the hint, I just read about my mobo it seems that the front usb c is only Gen 1 5Gbps.
Whereas the rear one is the latest Gen 2 2x2 (20Gbps).
