Update - I tried it out after installing the app on the quest, and it all worked fine until the play screen loaded and disappeared.
The sound was still playing though. Virgin tv go works fine in the oculus browser though, which is nice.

It's the usb bandwidth test the Oculus software asks you to do when setting up your quest in rift mode
pistol whip is great fun !

Yeah Guys, Pistol Whip is fantastic. Played a lot of this over Christmas and finally managed to complete every level on hard. Will have to go back and do the all the maps with aim assist off now.
Just curious are you guys using the Oculus Move app? It doesn't seem to register the movement on Pistol Whip as good as the movement on Beat Saber. According to the Move app today, I used 100 Calories in 16 minutes of Beat Saber. But only 35 Calories in 15 minutes of Pistol Whip. Yet, I know myself that I am more tired after playing Pistol Whip.

Don't have the app, nor care for it really.
It would be nice to completely remove all apps from popping up that I'm never going to use, like quill and scoreboard.

We had our Oculus Quest 2 arrive yesterday. Having never really used VR before I’m funding even the smallest thing quite incredible!
my 7 year old is playing Job Simulator, but could do with something to wear to make it fit better; any suggestions? Just using a soft toy as padding at the moment!

To fit your kid better? There is the fit pack, which contains a wider and slimmer fitment, slimmer one may be more suitable for a youngster. Or there are the VRCover face plates.
Also an after market headstrap such as the GOMRVR one from ali express(takes a while to come from china though)
I have the gomrvr strap and the vrcover, working great for my 10 year old daughter and 12 year old son and myself.

Erm, guys who have pistol whip on quest (or PC)
the 2089 campaign, is there supposed to be 2 guns or 1 ?
it says dual weld but i only have 1 ?
i run out of bullets when it opens up

For easy switching between my kids and adults I got the HTC Vive Deluxe Audio Strap along with the Oculus fit pack and couldn’t recommend it more. The audio strap keeps the headset rock solid and far better balanced on everyone from the kids to adults and can be adjusted very easily when switching between players.
It’s not a budget option but it is definitely worth it in our opinion.

You only wield one gun for the whole campaign but you do get upgrades. You shouldn't run out of bullets, just reload quicker.

does the htc strap fit straight onto the oculus or do you need something else to attach it? As you say not a cheap fix but if it works I’ll get one.

You need some adapters. If you have access to a 3D printer you can print your own from Thingyverse. If not you can buy them. Just google "oculus quest 2 das adapter"
I ended up just buying the Oculus Link cable. Sure it's a bit on the expensive side. But, It's a quality bit of cable, really light and has a couple of meters extra length over the cheaper USB cables.
