****OFFICAL MOH 2010 (Medal of Honor) THREAD****

Might have missed it but what sort of anti-cheat will this be using, if it's anything like dmw then it will be an auto-flop competitively.

Hoping for;

* No silly killcams,
* Good maps, maybe a few remakes from AA,
* Health regen - no no, health packs from the dead - yes yes
* Dedicated servers,
* Good anticheat (is there such a thing?)
* keep the ffa/tdm/obj game modes

Sure theres more things I could think of. If this is even a patch on mohaa it will be a hit, although I would have prefered it to of been kept in WWII.

Bull****, its only partially to do with the settings, apparently pretty much the whole of the rest of the game is 'codesque' Frankly I dont want a game thats LIKE cod because I could just play cod. It's not bringing anything new to the table that we have seen so far.

actually cod is mohesque

Bad idea to go modern imo.

Was it is with all the sheep?? Everyone does WW2 now everyone does modern day!!

Can't at least one game be vietnam or something?

because everyone finaly got bored of ww2 games and stopped buying them.

no one wants to do Vietnam as the average persons doesn't find firing blindly into thick jungle that fun as well as the technical requirements being much higher.

I cant wait. I'm sick of the site of the engine that powers the Call Of Duty games, its old tech and old news and its been milked far to long

Frostbite engine is newer with far more features, i'm not even sure i'll pick Black Ops up on release day, its far to predictable to pay £30 for

Looks interesting. I may set up a server for this game, but although I'll probs end up buying both COD:BO and this, I still need to choose which one I'll run a server for...

Its a no brainer for us tbh, COD with its public released dedi files or MOH with no public released files.

Looks a bit cack. And with it using the frostbite engine it will be interesting to see how cheesy the hit reg is on it. Really does look like a reskinned BC2, even some animations and weapons look the same.

What problems do people have with DICE and the multiplayer? Will be a purchase for me.

They seem to have no idea how to write a decent multiplayer framework. The server browser/Friends list in BC2 is just as terrible as in all the previous battlefield games.
Even months after release you still can't join friends games if you have to scroll down your friends list to see them. Apparently nobody at DICE has more than 12 friends.
The server browser is still terrible and they won't even put in a join from command line parameter (or even IP) so you could use decent third party server browsers like Qtracker.
I'd also like to be able to join servers as a squad.

It baffles me that they could see how Valve have been doing things for years and make the conscious decision to do things worse. I wish EA would give up and integrate their games with Steam.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game itself, I just wish they hadn't made joining a game with some friends such a painful experience.
