Awesome. Time to return to Arma2 then. It might finally be playable. I just hope they are working on fixing the grass disappearing after a few hundred feet issue. Dragon Rising doesn't look like it has any such issue with grass.

i grabbed the patch 1.4 but on installing it says i dont have the game installed? now the game is on an external drive and other patches have worked no problem .. any idea's other than re-install ?

I've not had a single CTD since installing the patch so far. *fingers crossed* I'd been put off this for a while by how many crashes I was getting although had some very good games recently. Hopefully how well it was running last night is a good sign.

This game has quite possibly the single most irritating control layout I've ever came across, its unintuitive, wildly different from any other shooty game I've played, and lis constantly leading me to shooting my commanding officer in the face in the tutorials, and having to do it all over again. Again.

The tutorial is crap too, it would be nice if they told you what button to press to preform the action they are asking you to preform, instead it lets me guess, and therefore I guess what it might be in ANY other shooty game I've played, but no, when I think its doing something and I have to confirm the action, yep, you've guessed it, I just end up shooting someone in the face again.

I really cannot be arsed playing this until they come up with a better tutorial for it.
