*****Official ASUS MAXIMUS FORMULA thread*****

Hi, what are you using to measure those temps with, probe? When using everest or core temp what are the temps of your cores under 100% load such as prime?
Thanks..
ChrisC

Right, bumped her quickly up to 333fsb, 1.28V in cpuid/asusprobe. 19c ambient and c0=23,c1=23,c2=24,c3=24. Ran prime95 through for a quick 30min blat and temps peaked at 38c across the 4 cores. Really chuffed I have a chip with such an even heatload across the cores on idle/load :) I have been lazy and asked on xtreme for some quick settings to run her at 400fsb. Once I do that I will let you know what temps I get if you want.

I will as of tomorrow. I have the 4gb 800 c4 kit on it's way to me.

/Edit. Probably not tomorrow. Ordered in good time today, delivery date was shown as tomorrow but it's 'in warehouse queue' currently..............

Ive just finished a build with this mobo, getting CMOS err on the poster, pretty sure it may have also said DET DRAM. got 1gb of Balistx PC8500 in there.

Too late to have a play tonight, I was thinking the battery may be dead but now thinking it could be a ram volt problem, which is annoying as I cant get into the Bios to change it and I havent got any spare RAM

I'll have another go tomorrow checking all my connections etc, but ive got a feeling I will be posting a new build help thread

Just installed this board, anybody want to give me some tips on overclocking my q6600?
If its a Go stepping and water to the nb then this should get you going , depending on what ram then you will need the right divider also need to use your ram volts
