Official FIFA 22 Thread

Packed most of Liverpools walkouts yesterday but no TOTY ahh well.

Tried that year in review SBC with the foder and got Cozza.

He's brilliant and really notice both ky CBs stepping up to the plate now.

Finding gameplay horrible or have players have a stealth nerf. Players are sluggish not as sharp and passing has gotten worse.

Agree there, I've had loads of passes that would put my strikers clean through just over hit.

The speed seems to be really random, one games its sluggish and players feel like crap. the next its like a pinball game
 
Does any know how people can defend like they're on steroids? Played a Serie A team just now and literally the minute my strikers touched the ball, the defenders ran at his at full pace? I've tried using contain but it was nothing like to this level.
 
One last pack session this morning and I've packed Bonucci twice and Mendy four times FFS. Been able to craft two more Mid Icon Fodder packs but I want another TOTY :mad: :D

Edit: Now the Mickey Mouse servers are down, again.

Edit: Over an hour with the servers down and EA still haven't Tweeted to acknowledge the issue, complete and utter contempt for their player base.

this is the biggest issue with the game
 
Held off buying Fifa 22 till last week, was off work for the week and bored so brought it. Was enjoying the menu grind more then the game tbh but not much to grind anymore.

Nephew was ribbing me about my team as he has decent team with Ginola where as mine was just a gold rare team. That was until I packed TOTY Messi with rivals rewards, sent him a photo and his reply was not congratulating me! lol
 
Played 12 games today in weekend league and its been fine - all games were of a constant speed and feel....... Won 9 Lost 3
2 of the loses were close and could have gone either way - The final loss lost 1 0 and felt like it was so hard to break him down. He was really good and a L would come my way.
This is how the game should be !!!!!!
 
started some games friday wen't 5-1
played 6 today and now giving up. Not sure of its a glitch or some strange formation thing but several times now the guys triggered his strikers to run and my entire back 4 just followed him all the way back to my 18 yard box and just sit there. Even tried triggering the offside trap and nothing.

Then i've had the opposite, where i've not tuched anything yet my defense insisted on pushing really high, no matter what I changed they constantly stay high.

just absolutely killed the game for me
 
What's happened to this game the general passing system has gone to pot! Even standard passes seem to go horribly wrong and some of my totys seem to get pushed off the ball quite easily.

What do people prefer screen wise?

Currently on an LGC1 but thinking about switching back to a gaming monitor for quicker response times.

Thinking of rage selling my team to start again, I don't think I've played a more frustrating game
 
Got my strongest team now and had my strongest WL finish. 15-5. I'm chalking that up to the equivalent of elite. Also packed zola from rewards. Totw is awful this week.

Changes, I improved my defence by adding varane, rudigar and cancelo (still got kimbepe). Made a massive difference. Feel like my team is done until tots really.

That's good going. Was steadily Rank 4 until the recent patch and got Rank 5 last couple of WLs. Aim is to get Rank 3 this year.
 
The WL is almost redundant at this point, the majority of the promo cards are way ahead of the players you can get in your picks so they either need to give TOTW players a bigger boost, a WF or skill move upgrade or they need to include promo players.

Just the way EA want it, couldn't help but laugh at that card they've given Ferran Torres.
