Vrsaljko is normally pretty cheap.
Both too expensive!

Ivan Piris? He's crap irl but he's not bad in the gameNeed suggestions for a decent right back for Newcastle. Into my second season now, and I have limited funds...
I'm still enjoying it but it is pretty damn difficult isn't it. I'm playing as Kilmarnock in the SPL and they have 0 budget for transfers and a paltry £400 p/w for wages going spare. So I've had to grab the free transfers but the wage budget is proving a significant problem. At least I am winning a few games. But the going is extremely tough!
What's the best way to sell players? Everytime I have tried I end up upsetting the morale of the team. Also, what's the best way to get the best price for them?
i am thinking about buying this - how does it compare to 2012? Or should I just skip this?

I'm looking for some updated facepacks - I used the download link for the megamod that was in the thread a few pages back but there are still a lot of faces missing. What do people use for the best experience?
Stick with 2012, at least for now. It's playable, and some of the new features are nice (the new staff roles in particular), but you feel you're trying to set your tactics against the new match engine rather than the opposition.
I celebrated more than Gaston's goal against Arsenal on new years day and the penalty against Fulham on boxing day... (probably a bit ott considering they were real football days out)
Just madness that this is the smallest team I have ever seen in the premier league. I now have to go nuts and buy about half a team again to avoid constant losses.
Even worse been offered the Spurs job! One for everyone to answer, do I a. stick it out with my half built team and try to avoid going down or b. jump now and wait a year or two to get all my decent plays out of the team (signed one or two gems for the next couple of years already)
I bought this 2/3 weeks ago so far am quite enjoying it, I've not experienced too many issues with it.
Started a career with Burnley and in the 1st season I finished 2nd in the league and won the FA Cup. Now that sounds great but I think I lost 13 league games that season and it was more a question of which team could mess up the least to get promoted.
And whilst I did beat Spurs, Swansea and Villa on the way to the FA Cup, I got Millwall in the final so that was an easy victory. (the semi-finals were Burnley-Villa and Millwall-Stoke so everyone good went out early).
I've now played 1 and a half seasons in the Premiership pretty much all battling relegation (as expected). I've spend the 2nd half of last season and this season trying to find a better tactic as the one I used to get promoted (a 4-1-3-2) only got me 9 goals in the first 23 Premier League games.
I've partially hindered myself in this because I've concentrated on buying youth players 1st. With the exception of Fabio Grosso (34) in my 1st season and a 22 year old Goalkeeper every other purchase has been under 21.
