Thought I'd try the demo - started a game as Arsenal, bought Ashley Williams and Christian Benteke and played Fiorentina at home in my first game.

23 minutes gone and 3-0 up thanks to a brace from Ozil and a superb solo effort from Benteke.

Going into the 90th minute leading 3-0 having had 17 shots on target to Fiorentina's 6 shots - final score 3-4 to Fiorentina. (and no, before you say it, I didn't bring Bendtner on!)

hmmmmmm....uninstall methinks! :p

Thanks for saving me 20+ notes!

I was too busy uninstalling the demo and longing for the days of CM 01/02, when I last enjoyed a football management game. :D

Plus I have no idea how to take a screenshot! :o
 
Argh finding this increasingly hard this year. Seem to have a good run for a few games then lose to stupid teams and go on a losing streak that never ends. :rolleyes:
 
After a really good start to the season, beating Arsenal and Chelasea, drawing with Liverpool, and generally playing well, I haven't won in 8 games now!....I have no idea how to turn things around. Learning a new tactic would take too long really. I am still scoring plenty of goals, but I can't stop conceding

4 goals in 5 minutes is too much for me to believe.

Had the chance to sign Zouma and Doria for around 12.5M each, but I decided against it. My team is forming up well. Just need 1 Starting AML and a reserve MC.

Khedira is loan listed. I got my loan offer accepted from Madrid, but he doesn't want to join. When I scout him, the loan bar is just under 50%. Gutted :(

What can I do to unsettle him and 'force' him to join the mighty Swans? :D

Fair enough I guess, although I've no reason to lie as it just makes me look stupid for the knee-jerk reaction in uninstalling a game after about 12 minutes of play! :p

I really used to love Champ Manager and before that the original Football Manager games but when the whole essence of the game is based on "any team can beat any other team on any given day" it's difficult to criticise the game for throwing in the odd shock!

However, the nature of the the games, eg. 4 goals in injury time, is a bit too far fetched for my liking! To be honest I'd have still uninstalled it if they had just drawn level given the "flow" of the rest of the game!

Frustrating but "that's football" I guess, just a bit much for my liking!
 
I've officially given up and gone back to FM13. I hope they patch FM14 to a playable state because it does have some nice improvements in some areas.
 
started off the season with a terrible run leaving me with 1 win in 8, which left me fearing for my job. Changed tactics and now in the last 18 games i've had 3 losses, 4 draws and 11 wins.

Dragged myself from 18 points adrift of first after 12 matches, to now being within 6 points with a game in hand. Still got 13 matches of the season left and on this form i could easily take the lead and go on to win the league :)
