It was £23, but because I told a mate I wouldn't get it for anything less than £20, and he wanted to play a network game, he gave me £5 towards it haha.

Think that's down to the poor ME, might be alright once they patch it, should be coming this week.
 
So are most people playing the full game, or the classic version? I tried the classic version when the Beta was launched, and really liked it compared to last year's version.
Hopefully it will be sub £20 in the Christmas Steam sale, and then I'll pick it up :).
 
Going to fire this up for the first time in ages later on.

I'm going to try and sort out Man Utd's uninspiring squad and hopefully get them playing some decent football unlike real life. :p

First step with every United squad is usually to get rid of Fletcher (and probably Anderson). I don't know why though as his stats are pretty good. He just rarely plays.

I tend to let my real life opinions get in the way of my decision making in this game!
 
I seem to be struggling for tactics on this FIFA, nothing works! I'm a casual player, any good downloadable tactics out there?
 
Christ, I can't even sign anyone for Man Utd.

Every time I try to sign someone, they all seem to be signing new contracts with their current clubs (Vidal, Baines, Alaba).

Just about to play the first match of the season against Man City. :eek: Pre-season went OK.

I've got my team tactics set to:

Retain possession
Allow wide players to swap
Lower tempo
Look for overlap

I haven't touched the individual player tactics as they always seem to confuse things.

Southampton negotiating over Luke Shaw. They want £33m. He's 18 years of age ffs. I've already offered £13m.

Michael Carrick just scored 5 goals for England in a 10-1 victory over San Marino. He'd never scored for them before. Rooney got 4 as well. Very realistic.

Check FM Base. There are some really good ones on there. Usually the most viewed/downloaded are the best as a rule of thumb, as you'd expect!
 
Using 3-1-4-2 with Juve, Fluid & control. Only lost 2 in Serie A all year, won the Italian cup too. Tevez scored 32. Napoli were second 21 points behind.

Seem to strugglE in Europe though, Shaktar always seem to be my bogey team :(

As with all updates it is save game compatible and you are fine to continue your careers. The only exception to this is with the Swedish reserve league as listed below in the changelist.

Where can I get the logo club packs? I don't want to download from 10 mirrors like im forced to on sortitoutsi, Going to give this game another chance with this update, couple games played so far but not much change upfront and passing seems to be worse. Gone form having 60% possession everygame to about 45%, tackling is a lot better though. My defenders seem determind not to be beaten but two penalties and a red card makes me think this has been taken to far to the other side now. (that's with standard tackling also)
 
My team don't seem to suck as much.
With Stockport I'm second in Skrill North, managed to get a few solid goal scorers.
However conceding odd goals where defenders are seemingly allergic of the ball etc.
Struggling to keep my board happy though, and I'm second in the league, I probably won't win as the top team are too far ahead, I'd have cut the lead down to 4 points had I won my last game, but oh well.

Torrent it.

You can stop/start the download, and you don't have to stay waiting in between parts. Normally, sortitoutsi provides you with an 'official' torrent link. If you look in the forums, you can find the link. Someone took the time to download them all, compress and upload

Looking at my database folder no you don't. I'm not 100% on that though as I have not started a new game, I still have the correct names in my save game.

And than finally click on "reload skin" or "confirm"

This patch hasn't made the game feel any better for me, having a lot less shots which is good but im not creating decent chances like I was before but concede a lot from long balls forward no matter how I set my defence.

Ok yes, this game is broken still. Just had two keepers sent off in one game for collecting the ball and running out of the area... which is something they claimed to of fixed. Players cannot pass but opposition players longball to feet constantly... FMbase community is right... this patch has made it worse.
